Randy has plenty of money believe me. He just wants to give it to the right manager. It was not about Money with Benitez, it was an issue with the contact he wanted, I think he wanted a rolling contract, which Randy was never going to agree to. If you aren't on a wind up mission I'd suggest you kick back a little go out, have a beer, play some video games or just relax a bit. Our team is no better than Evertons, if we are happy with top 8 go for it. But for me we will just be equal to Everton if we take Moyes. I find your reasoning regarding Moyes vs Hughes rather interesting. You look at their records and dismiss Moyes while remaining 50-50 on Hughes. I mean, obviously, we will never know beforehand how something turns out, but how do you arrive at the conclusion that Hughes is 50-50 while Moyes is a no-goer? Hughes seems to show alot more ambition. I never see this with Moyes, he looks like he is happy enough plodding on with Everton. Remember he could have managed Tottenham and turned it down. No one else has really come in for him since then maybe a little worrying. To me he is average at best. Osman - Youth academy Cahill - £1.5 million. Jagielka - £4 million. Baines - £5 million. Beckford - Free transfer (and from League 1...) Saha - (I can't find anything about it, believed to be £3-4 million?) Rodwell - Academy ... so out of 8 key players you mention, only around 15 million ish has been spent on all those players. It's only Fellaini out of that group he spent large sums on. Jagielka, Arteta, Baines would walk into our team (and be 3 of our best players) and he spent £11 million between the three of them. He did do a similar job to O'Neill ....you're right and I was quite content with O'Neill's results and the way we were going on the pitch, the problem was the wages ...which Moyes seems capable of managing to. Given more money on a regular basis, I reckon he'd do a fine job here and take us back challenging the top 4-6 IMO. He won't cum to us look at the players they have to us n randy not giving more than 30 million for transfers after youngs transfers why rafa didn't come
