Will N Zog be playing for the villa next season?
Doesn't look like it, unfortunately.
Why doesn't it?
-
N'Zogbia, N'Zonzi, Givet and Samba are all in the pic and are all French, just a get together?
-
The one at the front is Samba?
-
Flights from Hong Kong often stop in Dubai right? He's probably just gone on the plane with his mate Samba, getting off in Dubai, to just chill.
Maybe but normally they fly direct HK is sometimes a stop off if you're off to Oz or NZ.
Maybe Dubai is "the trip" he was on about then? Fooled us all.
Isn't that N'Zogbia on the Samba photo with BRFC players?
Looks like him..
-
According to Kendrick McLeish is flying to HK on Sunday with the squad flying tomorrow, just saying.
-
Would love Given at villa, but not taking £85,000 a week.

The bloke has some balls, I'm willing to give him a chance, top 4 and a cup or OUT

Feel like crying

Someone please ring up TalkSport and shut Micky Quinn up, i would if i werent at college.
-
Id welcome Maradona with open arms
-
The only way id be the slightest bit pleased with the appointment is if the compensation included Dann, Johnson and Foster coming along with McLeish..
-
Even if you try and look at McLeish objectively and ignore the issue of fan discontent, this makes no sense. He might well be a straight-up character & strong personality, which would be traits the board are after, but is he known for:
-developing youth?
-success in the Premier League?
-good football?
-being able to attract top players from around Europe?
This is a manager who has a team that lacks creativity and goals, who then takes the one talented footballer they had (Hleb) and sticks him on the bench all season.
A manager who plays for a draw in a game they needed to win to survive.
How can he possibly be the best candidate? Even if we've been turned down by several better candidates, there are always more. McClaren was a better candidate, Jol was a better candidate and they've both gone to less attractive jobs. I cannot accept that aren't potential managers out there who aren't at least as qualified as McLeish but without the baggage. It shows either limited thinking (i.e. ignoring anyone who doesn't have Premier League experience) or limited ambition (unable to tempt likes of Benitez).
If they are struggling to find an Experianced Premiership manager, then they WILL appoint McLeish.
Moyes, Benitez, Martinez and Ancelotti may have ALL turned it down.
Its not leaving the Club with many options is it? Who would you want out of the remaining choices? Southgate, Curbishly, McLeish etc? I suppose they are picking the man thats had the most recent experiance of Premiership life.
Coyle, Hughes, Ranieri.
I'd also rather have Poyet, Zola, Holloway.
Id also have Chris Hughton over McLeish.
-
The only reason its going to be McLeish is because there are no other Premiership Experianced managers available, or they wont join us. Benitez, Moyes, Ancelotti and Martinez have no doubt all turned the job down..
So it leaves managers like Hughes, McClaren and McLeish that are available and would join us.
Ive tried to write a thread to get the fans opinions on appointing a manager "without" Premierleague Experiance but its been locked. Now this site holds ALOT of power and if they create a poll to get fans views on appointing a manager from overseas, it could swing the board to look at "other" options..
If we have a poll on here, where a large response requesting that they would like the board to look at overseas options, if Moyes and co' are not available. The board might see it(as we hear many board members look in on forums) and it might just make them broaden the manager search.
McClaren is manager of Forest

He's relegated them twice. Terrible record.
I could of done that.
-
We should just go all out for Rijkaard now so i can claim my £200+
-
For the record. I don't think Moyes has resigned ...he's got too much to lose by doing so.
IF anything has happened and it's a big IF, I would tender that we've reached agreement with Kenwright.
Twitter rumours are not to be trusted however the volume of tweets about it being announced on a radio station up there
is growing.
Guys calm down i just tweeped Phil Neville he laugh his head off because one hour ago he had spoken to moyes so its liar about him.
Phil Neville isn't even on twitter.
He is, @fizzer18 or summin.
-
Too soon to be getting excited but I have that feeling..
-
arghhh benitez and mclaren were not contacted
two weeks ago Lerner approached moyes and Martinez
Moyes number 1 and Martinez number 2
Moyes always number 1. Martinez asked as backup incase moyes said no
Martinez said no. Moyes likes the idea
Everything sorted now
just be patient
Thanks for the update Mr Lerner.

Grayson slashed from 50/1 to 5/2.
-
9/4
Alex McLeish
4/1
Mark Hughes
5/1
David Moyes
6/1
Gus Poyet
13/2
Owen Coyle
8/1
Simon Grayson
Not the most attractive list but id now be happy with Hughes or Moyes out of them.
-
Alex McLeish 9/4 on WH..
