Bookies here (Oz) so I guess the same back in the UK have CP as favourites!!

100% should be favourites. We have been mediocre at full-strength and full motivation away from home, we are tired and the job is done. Palace can finish above Brighton for the first time in a few years.

I very much think Palace will win this game and I couldn't care less really.

That feels like a bit of a leap you’ve made there to say he dislikes a lot of the fan base? Based on what?

That quote in your comment sounds like having to deal with an expectant fan base of wanting more success - big club etc etc.

Maybe. Just think the "El-Ghazi tweet" and several other comments over the years read like it annoys him especially.

  3. "You guys are an expectant bunch as well, so we have to deal with that as well"

Interesting comments from Tyrone. Almost certain he dislikes a lot of our fanbase, fair enough tbh. There needs to more "unconditional" support for the team next year.

  4. I'd cash in on him.

He seems more interested in shouting at team mates and getting cards than playing in a team. Kind of harsh but I don't think he fits.

Wow I can’t believe how much his passing out of the back ability helped us tonight. Incredible performance…

    Lol get a grip

Emery kept his cards close to his chest during his press conference, when asked a few times about Martinez's avaiability... read into that what you will?

He'll start. It's just to mess with their plans surely. We need every advantage we can get.

  7. Not sure if this has been shared recently, but in case people wanted a long read to understand the scale of Marinakis' (alleged) practices, feel free to read this:

  8. Only thing I would say about him is that he is a proper nob-head of a player. Does really dumb angry sh*t on the regular. Similarly to when we were linked to Acuna. Not exactly sure we need him tbh but fine to replace Lenglet I guess.

They clearly are, though. Check their form and stats, as I said in my post.

11th in the league, 12th in the Expected Points table. So no. Eye test. I don't just look at the last five games to determine the quality of opposition. It's no embarrassment to lose to anybody in this league outside of maybe the bottom three.

Our best season in years and years yet we still can’t shake the habit of contriving to lose to the worst teams in the league, of which Brighton currently are in terms of form and stats.

    They clearly aren't though.

One game. It's the same as when Cash plays RM, he did well v Burnley but dreadful the rest of the time he's played there. McGinn has been poor in this role majority of the time.

He hasn't. Just had a bad game midweek. Who else should play there btw?

  12. No point risking him for Brighton after Spurs lost. Appreciate Prem is priority but would prefer taking a calculated gamble. Whether that's Olsen or Gauci, up to Unai.

Some people are reactive at the time and throw out comments due to frustration - I’m very much one of them when we are losing as a team (not against Dougie directly). Best to just let people vent, and then they will calm down after a day or so.

Nah, best to tell people to control themselves better.

  14. I have to say, if you don't see what Luiz brings to the team then I can't help you and frankly you don't understand our style of play and (to put it bluntly) probably modern football in general by extension.

There's a reason that Emery has called him "our light", because he is one of the only players in the squad that can take the ball off the keeper and defenders in tight spaces, and progress the ball the ball against the press and create opportunities. He's fantastic at it. A couple of off games doesn't change that.

Quite simply the worst thing you can do as a fan is bash this type of player and plant seeds of doubt in their mind, when you absolutely need to have total confidence in your ability to do this effectively. I don't doubt Luiz has the mental fortitude to overcome this blip and drown out the noise, but why test him?

One thing outing yourself by saying he should be sold but sending abuse, just f*** off and support someone else.
