You have a point...
Arsenal 85 GF 28 GA
City 82 - 32
Liverpool 77 - 36
Villa 73 - 52
We're scoring enough. Tighten up the defence and we have a serious chance at the title.
It’ll be sorted next season. We’re currently missing out only aerially dominant CB and our only tenacious DM…it’s a player/squad issue

It’s a tall order, but it’s not even close to impossible to go there and win by 2.
Liverpool overturned 4 against Barca, granted at home
We beat Arsenal 2-0 away last month
Maccabi beat them 4-1 away
It’s unlikely but there is a chance. In some ways I think it suits this team better to just go for it than hang on to a 1-0 lead. I would rate our chances the same next week if we had a one goal cushion tbh

Just absolutely not our night

We’ve not played well tonight and they have been really up for it. They’ve also had quite a few breaks and decisions. It’ll be down to a long shot in the away leg

These European refs give a lot more penalties and fouls. Everybody should know that. We better get used to it.
Not for us though

I heard someone say Brugge is a harder match up for Villa tactically

One win in six for the might Al Ettifaq…I guess Al Hilal should be wiping the floor with them.
Gerrard is managerial garbage

Great news!

I have a feeling we’re going to secure UCL at home to Liverpool. We beat Spurs to the conference last season and I think history repeats again this year

Are we ready for Champions league?.....missing out on the Europa, is a huge step up.
Don't get me wrong, I want to achieve it, but I wonder, if we are actually ready for it.
Conference league this season has been great preparation. With the players returning from injury and a couple of quality additions this summer I say we’re ready

Once again this lot get a break in between the two legs so we’re going to have to win it the hard way. We’re running on fumes at this stage but back the boys to score a couple at home and get it done over two legs

That's pretty clever from Betfsir. Some United fans who can't count might still fall for it and hand them over some money.

If we write off 6 points and our goal difference as they are playing Burnley and Sheffield then we have to equal their points gained vs Chelsea A Liverpool A and Man City H. Going to be bloody close
I accept writing off Sheff U but Burnley is a live fixture. Put it this way…I’d rather be playing Brighton

Lets win the Conference League first.
Yeah that’s the other thing that makes me nervous. Everyone’s just assumed we’re winning the conference from day 1 Given the teams we’ve faced I’ll consider it a Europa level achievement if we manage it

As much as I want us to get 4th place and qualify for the UCL this season, how good would it be to win conference this season, Europa next and UCL the season after?!
Remember Mourinho’s Porto went Europa and UCL back to back. It can be done

I think some of the wild overreactions are being driven by a feverish desperation to qualify for the UCL on the basis that it’s the promised land and will suddenly transform the club and and team into a title chasing outfit.
Qualifying one year for the UCL is not a magic bullet. We have living proof this season from Newcastle.
The way we transform this club is by getting behind Unai and the lads for every game and enjoying the process/challenge. The players and staff will learn and level up as they go. There’s no rush here. Of course I want us to hit 4th this season but if we’re in Europa we should be grateful and there are upsides. It’s another great opportunity for a European trophy next season and a great learning experience. Im so glad we’ve had conference this year as preparation.
