Tried to carry them like a wash bag the tit

I don’t want Crysensio Summerville…think he’s got a bad attitude. He doesn’t pass the Dean Smith test

Seeing the negativity in the MSM to our top 4 has been eye opening. I’ve seen: Emery could be sacked, Villa have to sell players, Watkins is an Arsenal fan, Villa players are overachievers, Barely any positive coverage.

I’d rather take a six point deduction than lose our quality players. With the right additions I’d still back the lads to make top 4

Big old night tonight. Feeling nervous. Not sure I can take being in the thread tonight or following the game
-
Pressure off, just have a funny feeling about this. Feel like something magical might be in the air tonight

Being linked with England squad this summer. Apparently cock nose loves him

Ettifaq take another loss. Looks like the special one is back to hammering the players in public…
Gerrard said after the defeat: “Sakala was dangerous and that is what we lack in our team. We were bad individually and collectively. We conceded two easy goals. I did not like the mentality or the character shown by the players.”

They're generally 4/1 to win at Anfield. Likely to be even higher price to beat Man. City.
Spurs are now 18/1 to finish top 4

You have a point...
Arsenal 85 GF 28 GA
City 82 - 32
Liverpool 77 - 36
Villa 73 - 52
We're scoring enough. Tighten up the defence and we have a serious chance at the title.
It’ll be sorted next season. We’re currently missing out only aerially dominant CB and our only tenacious DM…it’s a player/squad issue

It’s a tall order, but it’s not even close to impossible to go there and win by 2.
Liverpool overturned 4 against Barca, granted at home
We beat Arsenal 2-0 away last month
Maccabi beat them 4-1 away
It’s unlikely but there is a chance. In some ways I think it suits this team better to just go for it than hang on to a 1-0 lead. I would rate our chances the same next week if we had a one goal cushion tbh

Just absolutely not our night

We’ve not played well tonight and they have been really up for it. They’ve also had quite a few breaks and decisions. It’ll be down to a long shot in the away leg

Sometime it’s just not your night

These European refs give a lot more penalties and fouls. Everybody should know that. We better get used to it.
Not for us though

I heard someone say Brugge is a harder match up for Villa tactically

One win in six for the might Al Ettifaq…I guess Al Hilal should be wiping the floor with them.
Gerrard is managerial garbage

One profile of player we don’t have but Emery has utilised in his career is the 30+ experienced cohort.
When you see our lower running stats and favour over control vs press you can see why technically proficient and mentally astute older players would fit well v young runners. Makes me think Ramsay could be sold because of this.
We need quality and experience and we need it now. The UCL is here. The challenge has arrived. I think the emphasis may switch to experienced winners. We have the young core, now we need the immediate winning mentality and experience.
