Carew and Heskey should never play up front together, we need another striker!

Carew done great the main reason why we lost tonight was Delph unable to keep up with his man letting him go and him creating the goal that sent us out.

And as for Heskey where was he for 81 minutes ? Im not suprised hardly any Villa fans want him here as i dont either.

Carlos Cuellar for me was MOTM kept the defence together and basically making up for the mistakes others made.

When we went 2 - 0 up we just sat back and let them come at us yet their creativity by far exceeds ours and we pad the price.

Worrys me with Delph as he's so inexperienced which does show yet MON is willing to put him into big games which seems to come at a cost.

And suprise tonight we went back to our old ways in 4 - 4 - 2 yet the 4 - 5 - 1 worked against Liverpool.

Right, as happy as I am, I'm absolutely infuriated with Alan Green on Five Live.

I know Ash can play-act, but when he went down recently Alan Green would not shut up about how he was 'faking' it and called him a cheat THREE TIMES. He was clearly annoyed and said "and he's not world class either Martin." He then had to eat his words when he conceeded that he may actually have hurt himself on his fall. In fact, he's coming off now, and Green's not bothered commenting any further. He wouldn't shut up before.

I just cannot BELIEVE that they never say anything about their beloved Gerrard's antics (same applies for other players) yet they're quite happy to jump on Ashley because he's not at everyone's favourite club.

It even sounded like Mark Lawrenson disagreed with him.

Im worried about the team situation i really am. One thing that really annoys me at the moment is the infactuation with English players and the fact he sometimes pays over the odds.

I,d be happ ywith Jenas and Warnock who are english but the rest maybe its time to look abroad.

Whenever were linked with any foreigner abroad every villa fan must think well thats not true.

Dont get me wrong English is a good thing but only if they are a good player who can improve the squad.

I dont agree with Squad numbers being added for silly prices like James Collins etc

I was just watching Soccer Saturday and the negative remarks the Villa fans received were numerous. Criticism of the half time booing and the constant ridicule of the players. We are getting a poor reputation.

I really don't give a damn what other supporters or pundits think of us. People have a right to boo the team off if they are served up performances like last Saturday.

What they should never do, and don't as far as I have heard, is boo during the play.

thats rediculous to boo during play and unacceptable.

OK at the end especially if your given a performance like that when you paid good money to watch them.

But to boo buring game play is disgusting in my opinion and its something i would never do in game or at the end.

The squad is depleted i just dont think MON is to clever when it comes to transfers as he looks for more strong players and people who fit in rather than actual quality.

Were currently looking at James Collins and that takes the biscuit for me as i hoped for so much better under MON.

I personally think with what he has done finishing 6th 2 seasons in a row he should be given until the end of the season although if we are say below 14th after 18 games then the chairman should defo consider his position.

. Im extremely dissapointed with the progress of transfers i think with waiting so long we will get held to ransom as the window nears to a close.

. After the Wigan game i couldnt understand why poor Delph was played alongside Petrov when the young chap doesnt have much experience surely with the season starting we should of played maybe Reo.

. Also i couldnt understand why MON sold Zat Knight when Davies had a shoulder problem all this has done is increased the pressure on the manager and the squad alike.

. I dont think the villa fans at VP against Wigan were booing due to the match but i think judging over the last 5 to 6 month the performances have been very bad.

Sorry for the long winded post but thats my views.
