We don't seem to have an identity or discernable style of play or even direction. We should be improving, not regressing. Coaching staff needs to figure this out, fast. We are leaking goals at an alarming rate.

I can tell you without any coaching staff looking in to it. We are simply not pressing high enough as a team. It's no good one or two going. Every player has to go man for man. Arsenal was so much better than us as playing in our half today it was shameful

  2. It was clear after 15 minutes the 5 at the back wasn't working.

Lacazete was dropping dead as a false 9 and going man for man in the middle. Their wingers and forward pushed up high and we couldn't pass through it.

Was crying out for a left and a right winger to push the wingers back.

    Too stubborn

  3. On the way back.

Referee was horrendous today. gave some easy yellow cards but didn't show consistency with Chelski. However, we would have lost anyway.

Good first half. Mings mistake killed the game.

Any point would have been a bonus today. roll on Everton.

Villa fans you were brilliant 👍

Odd player to pick on there.  He's played brilliantly compared to Targett.

Pure and simple he slows it down to much for me. His first thought is a backwards pass.

A team that has aspirations of chasing Europe are never going to get there by playing a 37 year old winger/LB

  5. That was embarrassing. If Nakamba, Young and Ghazi are Villa starters then we are bang in trouble this season.

Blame lies with Smith can't hide behind excuses. No team has had the perfect pre season.

If Nakamba can play for Villa so can I

Guilbert instead of Elmo and you’re on to a winner and I also think Greallish’s most effective position is on the wing as an almost inside forward with license to roam

Elmo, whilst not blessed with Fred's pace is a lot more reliable when you have Trez in front, who is a bit slack at tracking back.

Also seen a few times this season that Elmo gives Trez a right earful when he's not pulling his weight.

  8. Wolves Beat Wigan! Get Mon OUT NOW!

Wolves actually have what appears to be a very good midfielder in the bloke call Milijas, who was the captain of his team (for 3 million). I never really knew anything about him to be honest but when i saw the speculation (we were also linked) i was wondering if it would be another case of foreign player escaped becaused of O'neill being "cautious". I will repeat i didnt know anything about him, but i'd rather have spunked 3 million on him than Heskey or HAREWOOD!!! Watch him have a stormer of a season and his value shoot up thus being unattainable to us IMO. Against West Ham Wolves actually played some very good stuff with him being the one pulling all the string and having some very dangerous shots.

All IMO, but this is just one example of how uncreative i see MON as being.sigh. :|

MON seems to just be getting battered with every stick imaginable on here.

Why just MON? there are 19 other managers in the prem who never signed him, there must be a reason?

Well since a player can only sign for ONE team at a time, there will always be 19 other managers who didn't sign a player. What's your point?

What I am saying is there must be a reason why a lot better teams than Wolves did not want him?

Please answer my edit in original post aswell.

To be fair he probably mentioned Milijas as we was linked with him!
