  1. Graham Taylor and politicians regularly start a sentence after being asked a question with something like "let me just say this" or "I'd just like to say" . You were asked the question, you had the space to talk, say what you want. Don't start a sentence insinuating you're trying to get a word in edgeways. Leaves me shouting at the radio.

  2. I kind of half agree the only two consistent elements are the 3g and VT. No other sites I've tried are affected on the 3g . So either it is my network provider possibly in conjunction with my employer as it's my skive at work, or my IP filters via their service provision and something with VT affects my mob. Anyway thanks for the reply I'll keep an eye on issues as it appears its only me and I do mainly access via wifi. It puts just a small crimp on my mid morning routine. Best regards.

  3. Happening on mobile phone. Accessing VT via WiFi on router THROUGH MOB is no issue. If I switch to 3g I get redirected to slim spot and then onto other sites payforit or the virtus site. Tried on chrome and dolphin browser. Both no issue on wifi both redirected on 3g. Phone is android 4.4.4. Redirect is immediate on clicking any topic in villa talk forum. Can't locate online solution in any other forums. Visiting Other random online sites via 3g there is no issue with adware. Not using app. Thanks

  4.

Both their fullbacks have had problems so far, we've got to push Walker especially into making errors. Walkers problem is that he thinks he is faster than everyone else so he lapses sometimes, Gabby is perfect for exploiting that and I think they have pretty similar speed.

A race between the two of them would be interesting.

A race you say? For a wager no doubt? Why.... it's not like we have previous in antics of this kind.

From wiki, how West Ham got our colours.

"The Irons permanently adopted claret and blue for home colours in the summer of 1899. Thames Ironworks right-half Charlie Dove received the Aston Villa kit from his father William Dove, who was a professional sprinter of national repute, as well as being involved with the coaching at Thames Ironworks. Bill Dove had been at a fair in Birmingham, close to Villa Park, the home ground of Aston Villa and was challenged to a race against four Villa players, who wagered money that one of them would win.

Bill Dove defeated them and, when they were unable to pay the bet, one of the Villa players who was responsible for washing the team's kit offered a complete team's 'football kits' to Dove in payment. The Aston Villa player subsequently reported to his club that the kit was 'missing'. This however, is often disputed. The predecessors of Thames Ironworks, Old Castle Swifts FC, played in pale blue shirts, white shorts and claret socks as early as 1892, around the same time Aston Villa played in said same colours.

Thames Ironworks, and later West Ham United, retained the claret yoke/blue sleeves design."
