  1. Hello there, (wasn't sure where to put this)

I am a villa season ticket holder who will be over in Dublin for our first home game of the season.

I am wondering if there is anywhere in Dublin, particularly around temple bar as that's where we are staying that would able to show the game?

Any help would be greatly received....thanks!

    UTV

  2. Whose that scoring with his left and his right,

Is it Didier Drogba no he's shite,

    No it isnt Wayne Rooney,

    He's a f**king looney

    Darren Bent is F**king dynamite...

Then just repeat rather than use the I I bit.

I know its supposed to be used for A Young but the verse never gets sung (well very rarely).

  3. Does anybody know if you have to collect them in person or can it be done over the phone and net?!

Desperate to go as only just missed out 1st time round so wondering if its best to go down and queue up!

  4. Looking forward to this now as making a weekend of it in Newcastle. Just wondering where the pubs/bars Villa fans will be heading for a pre match drink or 2? Been up there a while ago and cant remember where we ended up. Any other Villa fans heading into N'castle on the Sat night?

  5. I have just spoke to my mate, who phoned up the Villa to book a stadium tour for his sons birthday.

While he was on the phone he asked 'out of interest when will the new sirts be avaliable?!' He was told that it had just been announced that the home shirt goes on sale 16th Sep and the away is out 24th Sep.

  6. Looking at the road map, this go slow sh1te shouldnt effect Villa fans travelling from the south of Manchester.

The services where its starting from are up by leeds.

The way I have been before, M6 M56 M62 is coming into Manc land from the opposite direction to what they say they have planned!

    Hope so anyway!

  7. Wembley Wembley for the Villa,

    Wembley Wembley I say

    Wembley Wembley for the Villa,

We'll be going in the month of May.....

Going to Wembley, Going to Wembley, Going to Wembley in the cup.

Were going to Wembley in the cup

    :)

(keep st george in my heart)

So thats what you were singing on the coach home Sunday!!!

  8. My first away day and i'm looking forward to this as much as Wembley on Sunday! Which pub's will we be allowed in? Anyone know the name of the pub that someone mentioned earlier?

The pub ill be trying to use is called The World Turned Upside. Its a fairly big harvester pub on the baisingstoke road. 10/15mins walk from ground!!

  9. Im a season ticket holder living in South Wales, but have never been to an away game. Will try and get tickets for this but i have no knowledge of the away support scene at all.

What do most people do? Get on supporters buses? Also if i turn up to a Villa pub on my own will it be fairly friendly? i.e. i dont really want a lonesome day stood on my doug.

    Alright mate,

If you're coming on your own from S. Wales, you'd probably be as well on the train. When you get off at Reading, go into the pub that's joined onto the station on the right hand side as you leave the station ( can't remember it's name just now). Rest assured it'll be packed with Villa. I wouldn't be surprised if there's not a few more on the train up either. There's a shuttle bus to the ground across from the pub.

Tbh, if you car it, it'd probably be a bit lonely, given there's no away pubs near the ground and the car parking is crap and dear.

If you go for the train option, message me and meet me and a couple of others in there if you want.

If you do decide you want to drive, then if you come off m4 J11 and head towards reading on the B3033 there is a big harvester pub on the right hand side.

Last time we played reading we drove and parked here for nothing and the pub was fairly busy with a good mix of reading and villa supporters.

Takes about 15mins to walk back down to the ground. Thats where ill be heading once the coach has parked up!!

  10. Any idea of where would be good to park as we're going to drive most of the way? Presumably quite a way away and get tube or train? Maybe even High Wycombe?
I usually park up at Hillingdon. Straight tube to Wembley from there

Thats what ive done in the past, and will be doing this time.

  11. Up till last night i was able to push it to the back of my mind! now its all im thinking of! Will be a great weekend just hope the result tops it off nicely! pretty sure MON will go with Friedel Cuellar Collins Dunne Warnock Downing Ash Petrov Milner Heskey and Gabbi. Would personnally like to see Young at full back with either Collins or Cuellar centre half.
