I've said it for a year or more.
Go and buy out Trapattoni's Irish contract and give him a young Pedouin.
Even Cowans, I presume he also speaks Italian.
There are dozens of managers out there better than O'Neill, just accept it !.
Or, just for instance, we do pick a "lower league manager" - so !. How do you know it won't work. I seem to remember being outraged when we took Gregory from Wycome. A year later we were sitting top of the league !.
You can't tell until you hire them. I thought OLeary was the best manager in the league when we got him. Took Leeds to Champions League Semi Final he did - look how that turned out.
Just trust the owner. So far, he has done sod all wrong, so just trust him !
Very interesting proposal and one I would actually be fond of. I would go for that or Hitzfield, Jol.
And why not, interesting suggestion. :-)

Heskey player manager.

An american coach at Aston Villa, please no, he does not have an amazing track record and would'nt handle the riggors of the premier league and does not have the necessary coaching experience for this club.

Gissa job?!
Hahah, thanks for that, first chuckle of the evening!!

Mail on Sunday:
Martin O'Neill keen to swoop as Steven Pienaar's new deal fails to materialise.
Aston Villa are hoping to take advantage of Everton’s failure to offer Steven Pienaar a new contract by luring the 28-year-old to Villa Park.
Pienaar has been linked with a move away from Goodison after starring for South Africa at the World Cup and is unhappy it is taking so long to sort out the deal with the Toffees.
Tottenham were reported to be lining up a bid and European Champions Inter Milan were thought to be keen on the midfielder, but so far clubs have been warned off by the £15m price tag attached by the club.

Sorry To mis-lead with the title then poll, was just trying to get the general opinion of the fans as we Still have a heavy workload ahead. 1 down 2 to go.. UP THE VILLA :-)
-
We wont win the final conceding 4 goals, this squad will play the final, but, potentially, in the mean time give a few of them a break, I dont think it will be detrimental to us as we have some good quality on the bench, lets see a different line up against Brighton :-)
-
Same old cockney ... always cheating.....
.... title bears no relation to the poll?????
LOL it does bear relation, hence the title.
-
When is it time to rest a couple of players leading up to the Final, if at all? I feel that rotation of some players could be beneficial come the final at the end of next month. Views please folks :?:
-
Shite poll, should of been deleted, trying to single out certain players indeed...
-
Thank You for all the comments, shame most of you missed the point, I was asking who would ACTUALLY be in the staring 11, not in the overall squad. :-) I would hope there might be at least 2, Milner and Gabby, at least for 1 match.
-
Realistic comments, thank you.
-
just a thought?
-
Mon all the way, we just need to sort ourselves out and play with a bit more guile and energy.
-
Any highlights or copies of the whole game around?
Missed it
Good to hear Delph did well
'I have to admit, same here, any clips viewable for us mere mortals.....???
