  1. So Oyster bar or bars in Altrincham...

Anyone tried the Wetherspoons down the road from Picadilly train station?

  2. Sounds too good to be true personally, but on the online ticket office, ST's shown available as....

Doug Ellis – 109 seats available

    Uppper –    37

    Lower -     72

    Holte –      1394 seats available

    Upper –     1098

    Lower –     296

    Trinity -     555 seats available

    Upper –     418

    Middle –    129

    Lower –     8

    North -      598 seats available

    Upper –     415

    Lower –     183

Total = 2656 seats available to purchase online

(Not sure if they have had to remove the seats where tickets have been bought for Liverpool/Newcastle game as the ST would not be able to use their seat for that game?)

  3. Hi mate

    I had the same thing

As the ST's are sold online through a 3rd party company (ticketmaster) villa want proof of who's purchasing, so a adult can't buy a u16 and use that etc they just need proof the user is genuine.

I took the ID's for 5 ST's into the office but the email I got said I could email a photocopy of the ID too, they can't release your ticket until this is done.

  4. What are your thoughts on who will make the 25 man squad out of the current villa squad for next season including new signings made up until now.

How many players do you think it now leaves to sign?

    I would expect:

    Goalkeepers

    1. Guzan
    2. Siegrist/Steer

    Defenders

    1. Luna
    2. Okore
    3. Vlaar
    4. Clark
    5. Bennett
    6. Baker
    7. Lowton

    Midfielders

    1. Bacuna
    2. Tonev
    3. El Ahmadi
    4. N’Zogbia
    5. Westwood
    6. Delph
    7. Sylla
    8. Herd/Grealish
    9. Gardner/Bannan
    10. Carruthers/Albrighton

    Strikers

    1. Helenius
    2. Agbonlahor
    3. Benteke
    4. Bowery
    5. Weimann

    Leaving 1 remaining place ... unless others leave above - 1 CAM - Belhada/Kiyotake

  6. Train arrives in at 10:40..

Not sure many pubs will be open & serving at that time so may start at the top at Wetherspoons Moon under the water & make our way down as the day progresses...

Top of Wallgate to Train Station at bottom is...

    Wetherspoons (Moon Under Water)

    The Raven

    Little Fifteen

    Last orders

    Lime Bar

    The Berkley

    Clarence Hotel

    Reflex

    The Venue

  7. Wigan away information: There are no designated home and away pubs. Most popular with away fans are The Red Robin & Marquee Bar.Both of those are close to the stadium.

In the town centre there is the Wetherspoons Moon under the Water or Camra pub The Anvil. Both are located close to the train station. There is lots of parking available at the stadium £5 per car, £10 per minibus, £20 coach.

    What's everyones pub plan then?..

  8. Hello Dominic.  Quick update for you (which you may know already?). A few fans have been in touch with a company called Maskarade based in Coventry.  They have very kindly agreed to print 3,000 Petrov masks free of charge for fans attending the Wigan game.  A group of fans will be putting these on seats before the game.  Best, Russell
