I think we will win this game fairly comfortably, maybe by four or five goals, perhaps won't be by that many, it wouldn't surprise me, but either way I think we will win for sure.
Your optimism is to be applauded. First home game for me this season. Not confident at all but CMON villa. Please...

I’m thinking about getting a pc to play any cross plat gen 5-6 games on (ps1/ps2/Xbox/GameCube/Wii etc…).
I don’t need a cutting edge one but good enough to play old stuff on steam at 60fps maybe 4K but 1080p will do. Can you hook them up a hdtv or does it have to be a monitor?
Any ideas on cost for something like that? Where would I get one from? I haven’t had a PC since 2002 and have no idea.
What's your budget?
A few options here. Most laptops and desktops have HDMI out to hook up to TVs nowadays. Just need to spec one up for your requirements and budget.
Another option is getting the steam deck. Fantastic handheld device. It's a PC really. Can emulate all the way up to switch games and is a natural partner for your steam library. You can hook one of these up via a USB c dock to a TV via HDMI too. Not all steam games are compatible yet but the library is increasing daily. I'm using mine to play the odd steam game (dishonoured and Witcher 3) but mainly emulating PS2 and Saturn games to get my shmup fix.

I get a feeling that the new anti protest laws are going to be getting a pretty thorough test this year.
No laws will stop rioting. Ever

What are you demanding from 'the opposition'? The powerless opposition. Demand more from the actual country 'leaders'. You know, the ones actually accountable

wasn't it proven that the majority of racial abuse on social media came from abroad?
No. That's what the good ol' mail started with and the line Southgate and the prem initially took without providing the methodology for their findings. Twitter analysis of the euros, during and after, actually showed that the vast majority originated from within the UK.

Got mine coming next week, had to wait over a year since I pre-ordered it as there's a massive queue to get one.
Looking forward to testing it out, but not sure if I will keep it in the long run.
Please report back. I should be getting mine soon too. A pal of mine put straight onto eBay and made a fair whack on it. I intend to keep mine and mainly for emulation. Hopefully doesn't turn into another dust collector.

That 8 year old learnt that behaviour. Daddy and mummy must have been nice. Not some sort of genius comedic response. Or just a story, init.
Anyway. Colourism is a thing and one of the many shitty consequences of colonialism and its policies.

I succumbed. Need some footy.
Tip: Get the walsall match pass and the Australia match pack. ends up slightly cheaper than the 4 match pack and gives you access to same games - unless I'm missing something. 4.99 + 27.99 < 36.99
Its like trying to figure out whether that multipack is cheaper than single items in your supermarket shop

Sunak for me, safe pair of hands, steady the ship for the election. Also prove people wrong that the Tories would never have a man of colour as leader/pm. Ticks all the boxes
Exactly what makes you think that? His track record? Prominent part of this debacle and he's the answer eh. The ship is listing and he was and is part of it, and instead of owning up to it and making sure everyone one gets off board safely and correcting course he is disowning responsibility and doing a mighty fine impression of Captain Francesco Schettino

Thats a false equivalency. An equation that cannot be solved. Spin it the other way as an example - We must stop people being able to kill their unborn chidlren. Women can do this by killing themselves with their guns. We must take away the freedom to own guns to protect the unborn children.
It's ridiculous I know but trying to equate the ownership of things to what you do with your own body is a non argument and actually hurt my brain reading it.

Well Range Rovers are flying out the door at JLR, can't build enough of em and they are £100,000 motors. It's not affecting everyone that much!
The real squeeze is at the lower end of the pay scale, it will reduce their quality of life, the only answer is to work more hours , get second jobs. It will increase our productivity no end.....
working in the finance sector for the automobile industry this just isnt true. JLR have mad a loss of over 400m million the last year. They can't build enough because of a global chip shortage - not because they have a surge in demand.

Thread is cray cray. If shooting pratice is your thing why not just rent rather than own. Is that even possible? Anyway very strange thread on what I am guessing is a predominantly UK centric user base. Showing off your guns in an American sports forum will probably be less hostile
The only guns one should own, I have a long way to go

You in a record buying club there @Harkanon ?
How does that work out for you?
Nah, just bought this off a site called MCRU - they stock audiphile vinyl releases mastered from original sources. Plenty of Jazz releases getting the audiphile treatment. More expensive than your regular vinyl release but they sound amazing and they are usually limited runs too. I tend to only buy these type of releases brand new now. Anything else I hunt down second hand.
