i sort of half got involved in a scrap walking past where the words removed were waiting to get in the ground by the doug before the game. policing was pathetic and there was a bit of a melee. saw this cop with a camera in the midst of the ruckus taking snaps of those involved so thought i'd get out of there. retreated a bit and started sing SOTC and this fat mug turned round and was wearing a b-lose shirt and went 'Yeah?!?!... Yeah' then he just wandered off which i thought was a bit strange.

Thats stupid to say, hes been here five minutes and has not had a penny to "build" with. MON spent plenty and we have 5 of the key players not playing for us atm that was key to us under him, Milner gone, Carew has officially retired, Gabby out, Stan out, and CC not at RB. Yet hes already show hes ready to actually use a squad, and give everyone a chance and play whoever takes a chance. Whats the point in "building" a squad if for 3 or 4 season running we'd used the least amound of players, on the trot.

With the team hes had available id say Yes, also think were playing better football under him already, still dont think he knows the best 11 or formation yet though. Well it was confusing when i walked out loads of knobs with no colours on so you could not see who was who but it was all just mouthing off really. One rather large bald guy got carted off by the fuzz again no idea who he followed and then there was another guy that pushed someone to the ground then did a runner into the crowd with the police chasing him. A flare was thrown from the Villa Fans into what must have been the Inbreds but no one was hurt and the flare was soon in the gutter with a mass line of police seperating both sets of fans. We just pushed our way through eventually and walked up Witton Lane towards the Holte.

Heskey I thought was great today but Dann and Jhonson are decent cb's and he wasnt getting enough help, Carew's gonna keep getting these cameo minutes ahead of the Fonz, why, he hasnt even played a single minute, that just looks like along with Carew he'll be on his way.

Ireland's form is obviously poor but we all know hes good enough, I would have liked him to start ahead of Shitwell who again just ran round and kicked a few people but still shows he's crap. Bannan did well coming on though.
