The more I see it the more that 4th should be saved. His fists are clenched which looks all wrong. I think the second looks awkward too, they are not clangers but just fail the eye test tbh, looks iffy.

I want to love him but not sure I actually rate him too highly.

Feel like he is very slow on the ball, takes him an extra second to make sure he has it under control.

The opposite of Pau who is very assured on the ball

Awful take, we r more likely to get points against Bournemouth than Man City … we are not good enough to pick and choose when to have players available. Hopefully Dougie doesn’t pick up a yellow v City. But I’d like to get 3 points first v Bournemouth then worry about city.

FWIW I said it at the time, him missing that pen in pre season was the best thing that could happen for us.
 

Getting him off pens has paid dividends.

Dougie has stepped up and looked super composed.

Never ever bought into the hype for this guy. Single handedly doing his best to cost us games. Highly highly overrated, people defend him to the hilt. Quicker we can replace him in the starting line up the better. Nearly cost us today.
