Buendia to Milan --> Loan with option to buy? Seems like a good fit.

(I don't even care which Milan)

Honestly surprised you’ve limited it just to Milan teams, you’re going soft  😂

There are a couple of tiers even within Elite at adidas (speaking only about clubs).

You have the absolute God-tier - Bayern, Madrid, Juve, Arsenal, Man Utd - and then the broader group which will include Villa, Newcastle, Lyon, Miami, Boca, Celtic, Roma etc

All of the above teams will have Authentic/Pro shirts that are also available to the public. There will also be standard replica shirts. I'm unsure whether "stadium" shirts will be made available for club teams and if so which ones. These are 80% lookalike of the proper shirts but noticeably different and markedly cheaper.

The clubs below this level (like Leeds) will get "replica" shirts for the team and the fans.

Drop down a level again and it'll be teamwear badged, sponsored and given for free to the clubs.

Down another level and it's as above but offered at a discounted price rather than free, and sometimes could be managed by a licensee rather than the brand. I don't know if adidas operates the licensee model like some other brands, though.

This will come as a shock to Leeds fans I imagine

Araujo is better than Konsa and would be a replacment for Carlos. He is strong,  quick, good in the air.. Also he can play right back. Basically he is the Uruguayan Konsa, only better aerially. If we get him, it would be a major coup!

oh yeah, I 100% agree with you!

That's a fair counterpoint. I think the Spanish press is quite notorious for gossip. But interest might not materialise further.

Remember when Alemany was joining and they said he would have a 'blank chequebook'? 🤣

Wtf is this? So instead of a kit launch today we are getting a "sign up and we'll email you directly whenever they drop?"

tbf that's light years ahead of waiting until the end of Sep for the home shirt to launch then being sold out within about 3 hours

You must have missed my previous post. Chelsea apparently already balanced their PSR books.

Well they sold a hotel to ensure they hit the prior year PSR limits, however that sale is yet to be fully ratified by the premier league.

Theres no guarantee that sale or the Cobham sale saves them

Chelsea have apparently just paid 40m euros + 25m in add ons for a 17 year old Brazilian winger with no experience.

They can bloody well pay the same for Duran if they want him.

Id keep him though unless it’s a stupid offer. People should stop being offended by basically him getting bored and liking a few tweets here and there.

That's just a symptom of a wider issue though.

Emery's methods require full buy in and its becoming pretty apparent that Duran may not be willing to provide that.

That Sun article is hilarious. We aren't signing Grealish, let alone for £50m which is conveniently the fee we would sell JJ for. Arsenal still interested in Dougie so we'd sell him too. Hilarious stuff. They never wrote this about Newcastle.

Which is funny as Bruno G to Man City is well down the line

We paid about £17m for him so I'm not sure why you think he's not increased his value by more than a couple of million. He was playing in the MLS at the time.

£40m is arguably too much but £20m is definitely too low. £30m would be a fair price for him in this day and age but if we were good negotiators we could get more.

£40m isn’t too much for the club who have paid ~£100m for Caiceido, Fernandez and Mudryk

Elite Management Ltd. rightfully sees a chance to up his comparatively low salary. They're seizing the chance whilst it lasts. No way he leaves Chelsea, but Todd needs to pay more.

But Todd doesn’t want to pay him more, he wants to sell him for pure profit

Lets not put the cart before the horse here, it is in no way certain that Tyrone and Emi will return as the player's they both were before the ACL's

The % chance is extremely high these days though.

We've got several players that can and will leave for a few mill here and there. If any sale includes selling our best players like Luiz, Ramsey etc that are coming into their prime then I'd rather not bother. We've had a terrible habit over the years of being a selling club due to having limited ambition and now we've managed to get into the CL selling our better players would be seriously counter productive imo. Especially when you consider we've got the likes of Dendonker, Archer, Hause,  Coutinho, Iroegbunam, Chambers all taking wages from the club. The way I see it these players need to be moved on if they have no future before we start even contemplating moving on players that actually make us a competitive team.

As for Luiz or Ramsey being sold....lmao. If anyone thinks Luiz is leaving on the eve of playing in the CL after helping us get there over the last 5 years I think they're pissed tbh. He's shown nothing but loyalty even signing a new deal while dickhead Gerrard was here and could've just sat out his previous deal. Ramsey either after having a season a season out and probably at his lowest value. Selling either of these players is stupid tbh. I'd sell Digne, Cash and a few others before even contemplating selling those two.

I agree re Luiz and anyone who watched Unai Emery Cam from the Liverpool game could see that Dougie was celebrating as hard as anyone.

2 years left on his contract now though so the proof will be in the pudding, if he wants to stay he will be signing an extension imminently!

Surely the UEFA wages to turnover ratio is a bigger issue?

Only marginally, great thread on twitter from earlier.
