Cut the tiredness exuse going over the top. We couldn't even string a pass , a cross or create a few chances or do the basics. We're was the aggression, intensity or the fire. Team lacks leadership bigtime.

We are an absolute embarrassment at the moment. Can’t defend, can’t attack. We look a shambles.
Tiredness is such a lame excuse, these are professional athletes. Theyll probably lose the last 2 league games and finish 5th just to top it all off.
Being saying it yes injuries taken a toll , but we're is the leadership and the want to many go missing.

Where is the aggression, want and intensity flat as anything. Lack of leadership out there to.
-
I'll say again we got a few players that go hiding when the pressure is on no where to be seen.

Get the subs on what we're waiting for.
-
No matter who's in our back 4 even goalkeeper we concede the most sloppy goals.
-
Look like we're running out of ideas. We need to get some form because we look shell shocked last 2 games and it's not looking good for the run in for Premier League either.
-
Story of 2024 concede sloppy poor goals can't defend to save our life week after week. Never has been rectified.
-
Come boys bring it home believe !.

Sometimes, when your back is towards the wall, it can galvanise the team. We're depleted, hopefully we can pull this one together. Scoring goals is no problem keeping a clean sheet I worry about.
-
Are the injuries just bad luck or do we need your dive deeper in fitness and conditioning mot talking about the ACL injuries.
-
Guys stop worrying about spurs should be all about villa still in our own hands simple lift , passion, intensity and aggression we should have no problems. Hopefully get a few back this week.

So you’re suggesting he’s just made a decision to not bother at this stage of the season?
He could have just decided to be more aggressive and play at a higher tempo and take control of these matches but for some reason, that we have not yet established, he just didn’t feel like it?
Don’t forget also that he was still playing international matches for Scotland and Conference League matches for us during his 3 match ‘rest’ period for the red card.
If you look at the number of minutes he’s played all up this season him and Luiz have had to run themselves into the ground to get us in contention for a top 4 position and to a European semi final.
If we fall short in either competition we should still be proud of the effort this team has put in, far exceeding most of our expectations from when the season started.
Hopefully the squad can get themselves up for one last big effort before the season ends.
I'm not suggesting he doesn't want to or bother to far from it not sure where your going there. All I'm saying is our leadership needs to stand up and be counted when the chips a down and this doesn't only include him. Yesterday I didn't see any fight, aggression anything to rally the team on.

This many injuries do we need to look into our side of things fitness and conditioning ?.

Why do you think he’s ‘gone missing’ in the last two matches then?
What is your reasoning for it if not that he’s physically and mentally shattered at the end of a longer season than usual?
He just come back from 3 match ban that was a decent break don't you think to refresh and reset. His gone missing because his not standing up and showing that leadership like a captain should do and rally the troops. Look at Martinez our vice captain his actions do the speaking and stands up when needed you remember the arsenal first half. To many making excuses for players here. I agree injuries has taken a toll to a extent. Yesterday there was no aggression, intensity and lack of want basics of football.

To many here relying on results that's the worse thing. It's in our hands still. I don't want to hear this tired bs we're talking Premier League players here. Get back a few from injuries and stand up to be counted not go missing when the heat is on simple as that leadership.

I’m not confused. You’re an idiot. Where is the confusion?
Again, you're avoiding the point making bs excuses. His last 2 games he has gone missing and not stood up when counted when we've being under the pump simple as that. Dont give me this bs his playing multiple positions or his tired. We're talking Premier League players here and he has just come back from a 3 match ban.

Playing in multiple positions means he is rarely playing in his own, best, position.
If Pau Torres had to play left back, right back, defensive midfielder to cover other injuries would you be critical of his form too?
Yes I would just like any other player. We're talking about Premier League players here not amateur players if there performances are not up to scratch and they go missing it's warranted. To many making excuses like I said last 2 games he has been anonymous as a captain.

Absolute bollocks.
Honestly, rubbish.
Ramsey gets injured. He moves to the left. Bailey/Diabys form drops, he plays on the right.
Luiz is suspended. He plays central.
Kamara injuired? Play him centre mid.
Tielemans injured. Ok, move him from right mid to centre mid.
Absolutely class player and our beating heart. As good as any player might be, they’re only as good as their injury and availability. John has been almost immune from injury all season and played any position the manager has asked based on availability.
Everyone on here bangs on about how good Torres, Kamara, Ramsey is. Great. Let’s see them play multiple positions for almost an entire campaign in nearly every match.
Silence.
McGinn = Class. Villa legend and one of several reasons we are where we are.
Playing in multiple positions doesn't mean his performing through or stands up and rallys the team when we need leadership that's my point seems like your confused. The only silence needed here is you avoiding the point I made.

It's the legs for the front 4 as well. They aren't making the runs and we aren't making the passes. Our players are dead on our feet
Not buying that and I agree injuries taking a toll, but players need to stand up and show leadership.

Yeah I just have so little respect for some of our fans tbh. Miserable polishers of rockets.
He's been absolutely quality 85% of the season and is just knackered in our most intense position. Also playing way deeper than he'd want to be. Can't believe people are slagging him off. We'd be nowhere near fourth without McGinn.
No one is slagging , but his not immune to criticism. I maintain he goes missing when the heat is on and it's happened last 2 games. That's why Martinez should be captain he stands up when we need him to.

Maintain he should have started we need to shore up that midfield McGinn and Luiz aren't working that's not including injuries aside.
-
Something has to change last 2 games because it aren't working currently. Still maintain we need to shore up that midfield and I would have started Tim.

Goes missing when we're under the pump or just gives the ball away.
