Just watching a clip of Gabriel Jesus, thinking this could be our guy, but looks like he's signing for Man CIty. Shame, looks very good.
I've heard he's a proper miracle worker. Would be a sin not to at least try and tempt him over here

Looking at Moyes at Sunderland and Pearson at Derby i can't help but feel we dodged a bullet. Moyes looks a busted flush and his signings are very questionable, in a market where £20m seems to be the norm for a player, he has bought poorly IMO.
Getting to know RDM more from a fan point of view, you can see why Dr Tony went for him, he's a progressive manager, who seems to be well thought and planned in his approach. It's nice to have a team from top to bottom who seem to know what they're doing
I'd have to agree. Was dying for Moyes at the start. But he's joined Sunderlabd who were basically in the same boat as we were a few months ago. Yes we needed a lot more work but they still needed strengthening. He's already come out and said they'll be fighting relegation this season. It'll depend on who he brings in before the window closes.
On the other hand RDM and Tony have been organised and sounded out targets that can actually do a job for us and fix some of the problems we had. Granted some of that is because of Tony's willingness to spend, but we've still had to sell, and Sunderland have a big sack of money to work with now.
I can see Pearson doing a job at Derby. They've been close to promotion for a few seasons, and while they were lucky against us the other night they didn't exactly roll over. I'd expect them to be up there.
As it stands I'm happy we have RDM. He seems to know how to build a team, something we were screaming for last summer. The signings we've made have been suprising and positive, the outs have been largely even better. Our form has already improved (I know... Championship football blah blah) and if we get a run of a few wins under our belt we could have a great season to come

I googled the image.
Would appear he's at a marina, beside some boats and near to some water.

Bas Dost would be a major coup for us. But I suspect there are bigger clubs than ours after him unfortunately.
It's not hard to see why.
He's good under pressure. Sneaks past opponents undetected. Always handy to have as a sub and he's big, hard and full of sea men.
*joke was made literally as I was writing this. Fml*

With a new 'world class striker' and a new right back, we should piss this league.
Some of the teams in the championship are dreadful. Even the better teams look dreadful.
And yet were still mid table

Channel 5 on a Saturday is all I watched!
You poor bloke.
Cant stand the channel 5 show at all. It's all just faff and adverts with a couple of hastily put together goal packages.
Give me MOTD anytime, it's not perfect but you get much more feeling of what's going on in the rest of the league every week

As much as I'd love to see Diawara join the club I can't see it happening.
One of the big boys will swoop in and sign him up before were seriously considered by the boy.
Shame really

Surely he'll get on today.
Looks like we're starting with something like a 433.... Would like to think he'll get a run out.
come on son

Gunnarsson has experience of the Championship and while not the most talented he's a leader and a strong personality, something we've lacked for years.
But the most important thing is he has a beard.

First we need a leak to confirm the signing, then random twitterings, then StevoITK, then the press get hold of it.... Then hours later the club confirms with ITSOTP....
Youre a madman!
And I can't help admiring the fact you don't mess about and how you do business.
Amazing! Just amazing

Id have to agree with you that on paper we're starting to look pretty strong. We're a big fish in this division and some of the teams aren't great.
But 90 points to win the division and 70 (roughly) to get to the playoffs is a big ask for a team that was dead on its feet a few months ago. Yes it's a new, much stronger squad. It'll be very close and depend on how quickly we click and start getting serious points.
Saying that I've been largely happy with the performances so far
