The only issue is how long it would take to make these deals and getting the actual players wanting to move.

Also why Luiz is mooted as a highly saleable asset which could address issues immediately and have alot of immediate interest, unfortunately.

I think we would get a max 12mill combined for olsen (2mill), dendonker(5mill), chambers(Free) and tim (5mill).

20mill + Duran for Gallagher probably a good deal

This is what we should be doing. Doesn't make sense to have Martinez, Gauci and Olsen registered for champs league. 

everything seems be pointing towards us selling tim given how little time and faith emery put in him. Chambers we will also be hoping to get rid off.

Barkley is better than both of them so I don't mind the signing if cheap (not sure if actually confirmed he would be free transfer?) and we still sign another defensive mid.

That would give us midfield options of Luiz, Tielemans, Mcginn, Barkley, Kamara, New DM. 

He was incredible in both of the arsenal matches and the home game against city. A lot of average performance in between though. Not against having him as a 4th choice CB but with his wage/age probably makes sense to try and get rid of him if possible.

Hopefully emery just rewarded him for being part of the squad by letting him start. Surely Gauci plays in pre season and hopefully takes over number 2 spot.

I still think he was a good signing considering the position we were in at the start of the season with the mings injury. Played a lot of games for us when we were bare bones.

Very frustrating. He definitely has great potential to be a very good premier league striker but the comments from McGinn and emery seem to be aligned.

If he is not happy at 20 years old playing under one of the best managers in the world, Playing in the champions league next season and working along side one of the best professionals in the premier league (watkins) where you could learn so much then seems like we have to try cash in on him.

I know, I know - he was playing crap when we first signed him. There's probably a similar post from me in the thread too. I just couldn't help myself though!
