I’d love to see either of them in our squad. They can’t both end up staying put can they? 

After taking a day to think on the game, Bruce has to go. Our club needs to put their foot down and make it known our managers are held to a very high standard. We can't go on with him. We haven't look good in ONE game with Bruce at the helm. Time's up.

He's played in over 40 games for Leicester this season and last year, if he was to become available, especially on a free transfer, there would be most teams in the Prem queuing up to speak to him. Agreed. A few people have been mentioning how they think he won't fetch big money or isn't good enough to find a team in the Prem but personally I find that baffling. He's a very good player in the PL and would find a home at many of the teams battling for midtable. He is easily a 8-12m player in the current inflated market. 

I'm afraid he's gotta go. IMO we have gotten worse since he took over. Our form over the last 3 months has been relegation form but we've been pulling midtable results out of thin air. 

The only two players I think can hold their heads up after this game are Hogan and Taylor. The rest should be embarrassed. 

If we score here and pull a draw out of our ass this game will sum up our entire season. Relegation form with mid-table results. Are we going to accept that? 

I say this part jokingly and part seriously. I think I could put in a better shift than Gardner. He looks like players I line up against on weeknights after work.

I can't remember one good or bad thing he's done all game. Seems to disappear, maybe Bruce forgot he's out there. 

Hogan just dropped back into midfield and made 4 simple passes in 30 seconds, the 4 most effective passes a player has made all game. It's not rocket science.

Can someone remind me again why Green doesn't play? He was easily the best LM/LW we've had all season. This game is crying out for a quick winger.

I'm not in the Bruce In or Out camp but I sure as hell wouldn't mind a new manager in the summer. This team looks lost.

Gardner has no place at this club. He has proven time and time again that he doesn't have what it takes to play in the championship. 

We are dreadful. Seriously dreadful. We play Hogan in the air and on the ground to Kodjia. Gardner looks like a League 2 player or worse. We can't pass the ball, we dont move off the ball. What do we do at training every week?

He has to go. We looked clueless again. Players didn't know where to be on defense, players didn't have a plan going forward. His tactics remind me of the ole Redknapp tactic, "go out and give it your all lads!". 

We're playing good football. I like our setup. Points will come. I can feel a blowout coming for us. Have patience gentlemen and women. We have a completely new team. 

James, go ahead and start following the Villa. You know you want to. Why else would you spend so much time here?

imavillan is right that he will be a menace to defenders, there is an element of unpredictability to him where sometimes I'm not sure he's thought any further ahead than "get near the goal"

I don't think he will be first choice for you, as in McCormack have a proven Championship striker, and Gestede is class at this level whereas there is an element of doubt that Jimmy can replicate last seasons tally, but with regular game time I think he will get 10-15 for you.

 

 

You don't spend the kind of money we did on a second choice striker. He will start after settling into the team with Gestede coming off the bench to provide a different approach. 

I swear it looks like this team has only played a game or two together as a squad, oh wait...they have. It takes time to build a team and learn to play as a team. Rome wasn't built in a day. It will take this squad 4-5 games to find their feet. Have some patience FFS
