  1. To be fair any new owner who takes over a semi-big club comes out with the old "top club in the world statement" we'd need to win 10 European cups to be considered in that vein and that's not going to happen.

Also £20 billion turnover over 5 companies isn't THAT much especially if you know the difference between turnover and profit.

The finances are all a bit vague but it's suffice to say he's not short of cash and Chinese don't mess about when it comes to spending it either.

The main running theme I can see though is the references to a new Villa and his construction links.

I think his plan is to get us back in the Premier League then build lots of new and exciting things, including probably/possibly a new ground.

We all love VP but nobody stays in the same ground forever, they become dated eventually.

and my new personal choice Unai Emery. Yes he would.

Yup, bet he's dying for a chance to manage us :crylaugh:

I love him too but LOL If he ever leaves Sevilla it will be for a much bigger and better club then us (and them tbf).

  3. Astonishing isn't it. I would love to hear an ITK legitimate reason he didn't play over that shower of scat.

His agent was pimping around last summer and no doubt will be this, he'll probably even end up with a better deal if Premier League teams come in.

  4. Team will be the same apart from Ayew (too good) Adama (too good/expensive) Gill (will get a move to Spain) and of course Bacuna who will be playing for a Champions League club, in all seriousness he'll probably get a gig at some dutch club.

So we get to keep Lescott, Richards, Hutton, Westwood and Gabby. Oh joy.

  5. The worst is over? We face life in the irrelevant 2nd tier of English football. Not to to be too morbid but many fans won't see us play in the top flight again due to their age and the fact they'll be dead once we come back up.

  6. The Chinese are heavily investing in their own football structure so doubt they'll be Man City owner types if they are Chinese.

My biggest concern is Randy choosing the right buyers. Like Doug before him, I understand he his looking to find the best owners for the club.......he's not exactly got pedigree in the decision making respect.

  7. Sky cut the 74th minute stuff out on their match choice replay thing they have.

I think maybe they see the stopping of the game a bit unsavoury and may tarnish the image of the league.

And LOL that video "sacked in the morning" to the stewards outside the directors box.

All the Newcastle stuff though and singing "Sunderland" was a bit OTT for me.

I know the players and Randy have driven us to the brink of insanity but from next season the energy needs to be channelled correctly.

We were going to keep it secret so as not to give the club too much of a heads up but I think a lot of people have guessed the kind of thing we will be doing anyway. We will be releasing 74 beach balls on 74 minutes around the ground and also 2.5k balloons.

Great idea. Will these be distributed before the match?

It will look/sound great with mass cheering at the same time.

My first game in 3 years. Shame about the circumstances :(
