He won't and we could easily be gone before then. I just pray the games run out quick for the sides below us.

We will stay up and unfortunately go through this all again next season. Things need to change at OUR club.

Wellbeck is an all round better footballer but I always think strikers are judgd on goals so Sturridge wins in that respect.

I agree with Rob182. I don't think the home crowd helps a lot of the time. It was starting to get really poisonous after that Norwich goal. As has already been said, there were audible moans whenever we weren't getting the ball forward immediately yet whenever we made any mistakes as a result of rushing things there were even more groans. I don't think it's fair to expect people to be chanting for 90 minutes but at least not constantly groaning and booing so early in the game would be nice. A flat atmosphere is always better than the kind of hostile atmosphere we witnessed in the first 20 minutes or so today IMO.

 

For the record, I'm not blaming the fans for the shit in the first 20 minutes at all, I just think there needs to be a bit more calm and patience sometimes.

I would agree with the calls for calm but it is not only at Villa Park that this happens. It happens all over the country, even at the top teams when things are not going well.

Lukaku being fit again will hopefully inspire the beast into action today. We need a big performance today.

I really dislike Pardew and wish the Hull player had headbutted him instead. I agree with others saying that Ashley will surely look for a way of getting him out for free now.

I will renew as always. It's in the blood even if the club and football in general is taking us all for a ride.

Interested article with plenty of controversial points and hints at bitterness at no longer being allowed in the director's box. I don't really see it as a report, more of an opinion. I know plenty will agree and other's will disagree but ultimately we all just want the best for our beloved club.

Whatever the reason for our predicament, I think it's time we stopped, looking, laughing or pointing at other teams and realise what a bloody joke our club is fast becoming.

I tend to agree but maybe clutching at straws is all we have now.

Very strange what is going there. I am not entirely happy with our cost cutting and general going nowhere as a club, but when you see this and the owners at Cardiff and Hull it does make you wonder.

It is quite depressing reading the names we used to go for.

It's Villa Park no matter what you try and call it. It's a sad state of affairs that clubs go down this road for money.

I am thinking it will be Fulham, Cardiff and either Albion or Norwich. Tuesday is a big game for us though because we are nowhere near safe.

I wil admit I was there objecting to the proposed appointment of Mcleish but once he got the job I wanted him to be a success. It was only when it was clear he wasn't going to be that the fans really turned so I also get annoyed at the " he didn't get a chance " notion.  

Who knows with the Villa. I would like to think we can get at least 4 points from the next 3 games.

Such a shame as there was really high hopes but he just does not seem to be in Lambert's plans.

I'd be confident in a shoot-out with Guzan in goal as he seems to be like Bozzy in the penalty saving department.
