The money is not the problem, the key is finding right players and taking a chance on unknowns.

Hello I am back home after my holiday and noticed Real Betis in Spain do this. Sell the shirt in club shop without main sponsor logo and players wear the shirt withmain sponsor logos. It would be nice if we can do the same. (I think the 100th anniversary season might be the reason)

I also noticed there is no Villa shirt on sale in Madrid or Sevilla, even at Nike shop.

I am wondering why it is necessary for 12.45 kick off as it is bad for people like me (Postman) (I don't give a damn about Asian TV money). This morning I woke up about an hour earlier and left work at 7.30 and start delivering and finished at 11.40 and by the time I got to the game I arrived my seat 2 minutes before the game feeling tired, stressed and awful. I couldn't enjoy first half at all. After a drink and quick splash of water on face, I feeling bit better and it is nice performance of Aston Villa especially Marlon and John.

I would prefer sunday/late evening kick off/normal time kick off. I don't want to see any more 12.45 kick off at all. It is not natural.

Tonight I have been watching Spanish footballl on TV (Almeria V Real Madrid) Almeria had really impressed me as they had a real go at Real Madrid from start to finish and beat them 2-0 a nearly promoted side beat a team who are 9 points clear on top of the table, and beat Sevilla, Valencia and Real Madrid in last 4 games. Their coach Emery Unai is one of top young coach in Spain at 36. I think we should be keeping an eye on Almeria for possible talents for Villa and watch Emery Unai career with interest as he could be an ideal person to take over Martin O'Neill in 5 years time or whenever he retire. I have not heard of Almeria before.

Was Birmingham a difficult location for attracting players to move Aston Villa ? ie players wouldn't consider it due to location of the club. A former rival club chairman told me it is hard to attract players to move to the Mdlands.
