  1. When he moves on it'l be great for the club. Just think no more hoof. No more spending £50m on journeymen, a plan at last instead of the dark ages.

I expect him to go to protect his media created persona. Come on media give him a job where the spotlight is on him.

  2. Dreadful performance, MON was clowned tactically.

    Here we go again...

I personally said 4-5-1 might be a better option, who knows if it actually would of?

However we played the same team which beat United, Sunderland, Hull, Stoke. He had everyright to play the same team and you can't disagree with that.

It's not the result but performance and as usual not responding to whats needed. I dont blame him for 4-4-2, continuity after a good run of results. But all through the match as numerous times in the past we were totally overun but nothing changed.
  3. Worst performance of the season.

Possibly, though I would add best team we have faced this season to that.

We've looked dreadful. The last half a dozen games have masked problems imo. As soon as we're under pressure MON gets the team to sit on the 18 yard line as usual. Dunne gets injured and another freefall is on the cards.

You **** joker we didn't even concede in the last 4

    Have you lost the plot?

It's the 2 years previous that gives me the willies.

  5. It's not a negative thread.

Gringo is basically, afaik, doing these monthly surveys so he can correlate changes in sentiment to results etc.

(and methinks totteralong would have no objection if it were in actuality a negative thread)

No the threads are created to cause arguments and point scoring. At any other club in the land even shah there wouldnt be threads like this.
  6. Impressive performance. We did play well. You only look as impressive as the opposition allows and Stoke were never giving us an inch. We beat there physical game. Very encouraging. Watch the likes of Man Utd when they play teams like these it's regularly a slog. The key is winning the physhical battle aswell as the football battle.

  7. I'd say his biggest mistake was agreeing to manage a club who's fans question what his biggest mistake was at a time when the club is riding high and are in the semi-finals of a cup.....that for me would be his biggest mistake.
Hmm. In his 3 and a half years at the club he's yet to achieve anything of note yet. So where the hell do you get the dont deserve him nonsense from?.
  8. Long may it continue as it will mean we are still moving in the right direction.

If the "right direction" is monotonous, predictable football with players incapable of passing to each other, then yes we are. If it's qualifying for the Champions League, then no we're not. Spurs were so much better than us today in the second half, and we were supposed to be at home. Dreadful football from us, yet again.

We've been treading water for the last 18 months. MON is spending very large amounts of money to play vintage Wimbledon style football, it's quite surreal.
  9. He'll walk
Disregarding everything else. How do you regard him Richard?. He's spent alot of money on overpriced average (imo) British based players. It's never gonna come together like this is it?.
  10. condemned by the White House yesterday as “outrageous and disgusting”
Obviously two wrongs don't make a right but maybe the US could cast their collective mind back to when they awarded medals to the commander and crew of the boat that shot down the iranian passenger flight killing 290.
Maybe you kiddies could understand our media is foreign.
  11. Stay. He's at the absolute top end of managers available to our class right now, and the season is far too young, the game far too fickle to dispense with the services of such so readily.
He's not in the absolute top end of managers. Nothing he's done in his career suggests that at all.
