No chance! LOL

Anyone have a link for a sports news stream? I'm not at home, grr!
-
Sounds like alot of money is going on Ancelotti now then, down to 5/2 on paddy power. Sure he was about 16s last night/this morning. Won't get carried away with the speculation, but, if only....*prays*
-
Not copying and pasting it, but read a little conversation on Twitter between Vital_Villa and some other bloke called Richardfranks, and there's claims to have a text off Downing saying he's been mis-quoted and wants to play Champs League with Villa. Not saying I believe it, just thought i'd pass it on and others will no doubt go and investigate.

It's like we're out at sea and everyone is treading water, waiting and waiting for some direction, some leadership and/or someone to come and rescue us, so to speak. Some are getting tired of waiting for the cavalry and decide surviving just for themselves is their best option. Before too long more of the same is going to happen unless there's some quicker developments, signs of positivity, etc. Otherwise, eventually, we'll stop treading water and get eaten by a **** off giant shark!
It's been a long day!

Yeah sorry! Completely forgot he was at the club.
-
Sorry to be sounding dumb, but who does the “he who should not be named” refer to?
-
IF we manage to stay up, my preference even though it probably is too much of a stretch for us, would be Guus Hiddink.
Would he leave an international job to take over us full time? Highly unlikely, but I would very much love us to try.

General, after reading Jean II Makoun's live chat today, is there any possibility at all of following up the whole 'funky jumper' being made to sell in the club shop? It seems to have taken on a small life of it's own and would be a popular choice for the fans. Thank you.
-
Saturday i'd quite like to see Bradley alongside Petrov with Makoun playing in front of them in Ash's 'place'. Get Ash back on the left, Stew on the right and DB up top.
Just think Makoun playing further up the field with his vision, touch, awareness and passing could be pretty deadly behind Bent. Then it leaves Petrov and Bradley to break up the play in the middle and, more so with Bradley, get us moving up the field quicker.

General Sir, welcome back!!
Apologies if it has been asked already, but, who are you picking to win the Superbowl on Sunday? It's a tough one to call this year; Packers O vs Steelers D is a great match up. I'm taking Steelers by 7.
Thank you.

Looked tidy at Wigan, looked immense tonight. Agree on a different partner though, too many times saw him and Petrov were getting too close to each other. But his all round game is a joy to watch, shows alot of promise and hopefully it'll continue!
Been saying all season Young doesn't belong in the hole, just dont work for whatever reason. Downing works hard back tracking and helping defensively but he needs a break.
-
Actually noticed him pull up in the game and stretch his upper leg out. Assumed he'd just ran it off because he didn't react to it again. Shame he might not play tomorrow though. Hopefully ready for OT.

If this 'injury' has cleared up, i'd throw him in on saturday in a 3 alongside Petrov & Makoun. Bannan Gabby and Albrighton as a front 3. See how that goes.
-
As far as debuts go, and on a shite pitch at that, was decent enough for me. Not mind blowing but enough to think once settled properly we could have ourselves a real player. When he got subbed the 1st word that popped in my head was 'tidy!'.
Stick him in the middle with Petrov on saturday.

Or could it be more
Cuellar Dunne Collins
Albrighton Petrov Clark Downing
Young
Gabby
Bent
??

Fear that's a far too attacking line-up and lightweight in the midfield, made me even more nervous now!
-
Great news! Welcome Darren, keep scoring them goals mate!!
On a side, to Randy Lerner; thank you! Never once doubted you when the pressure mounted, kept the faith. To quote the General, Semper Fi!!
:notworthy: :notworthy:

Charlie Webster is no Georgie! Don't get me wrong, if I had the oppurtunity to hang out the back of her I wouldn't say no though! 8)
-
Still delighted. But I need to moan. Getting bored and sick to death of all these journos, media people and players pedalling the same crap about 'MON leaving cos of no funds.....Bet MON cant believe what he's seeing....Where have Villa got this money from?......If Lerner would of backed MON they could be where Spurs are'.
Aint got a **** clue about our club so stop pretending like you know every little sodding detail!

I checked the news at around midday and there was nothing. I'm away from the pc/laptop for an hour and all hell breaks loose!!! Be fantastic if it happens and a big middle finger to all those doubtes, Villa and non-Villa fans.
I just wish I still had sky sports news at a time like this
Situation vacant... who do you want as the new Villa manager
