    Kozak is not part of our 2 main strikers. Gabby is far more important than him and is better than him played down the middle and if weimman finds a bit of form so will he be.

     

    That's our problem, we always have to cling to hope that someone will 'find their form' in a position they dont even play in...

    AVFC Problems:

    Each negative has an impact on something else. For the club to get back to where we were, getting rid of Lambert probably wont be the immediate fix. Start from the top then work the way down. New owners > Better manager > Better players.

    Genius! Why have we not thought of that!

     

    I'm not trying to make it out that I'm the only person that has thought this is the solution, I'm just reading what some other people are saying who cant see the bigger picture. Plain and simply, the manager is not the SOLE problem is what I'm saying...

    I agree too.

     

    But for what we witnessed on the pitch yesterday, he is the sole problem. We weren't outplayed and defeated by a megabucks top 4 side, we huffed and puffed and couldn't find a way to beat Crystal Palace, a side made up of lower league players and one of our former reserves.

     

    Yesterday was a nightmare for both players and manager. Palace are a team fully backed to go down, when you cant beat them then questions do have to be asked.

    Looks poor at the moment.

    So after buying 4 fullbacks we still haven't got a decent one between them.

     

    Yep.  Lowton, Bacuna, Bennett and Luna.  All utterly shite.  Nobody can tell me that even with this legendary rebuilding job that Saint Lambert has been trusted with, that two good full backs rather than four dreadful ones wouldn't have been a better idea.

     

    Bacuna is a right winger...not a natural right back. Might want to click the 'edit' button there....

    Lerner & Faulkner > Wont put enough £££'s in club to compete > Lamberts on a budget > Buys lots of poor cheap players instead of 1/2 half decent players > Creates a poor/average squad > Too young to mentally handle losing > Poor tactics.

    FIFA ratings really make no sense. Gael Clichy, a defender who can't defend, is better than anyone at Villa? Okay.

     

    Fifa ratings are biased as part of the rules of the game. maybe biased is the wrong way of putting it but the team's overall star rating is dependant on where the team finishes in their league positioning the past season. now that our bomb squad has gone which inlucded our highest rated villa players last year, that means the ratings of the current squad will be boosted so that the villa team rating doesnt drop. Bent who was 81 was our highest who will now most likely be Benteke, i reckon an absolute maximum of 80 for him this year.

    More importantly than hoping for a hatrick from Bannan we firstly need to hope that he doesn't get dragged off the pitch by stewards as a lost child before kick off.

    A lot of clubs have players I'd quite like us to have... Jack Cork at Southampton for one. (He'd fit into our side perfectly. However Southampton wouldn't sell to us and he'd cost a wedge)

    Cork is decent but Morgan Schneiderlin is the one I'd most like out of Southamptons midfield. Very underrated player who would be brilliant in our midfield. Probably out of our range now though

    It's so easy to forget the quality Southampton have
