Just called ticket office. They're saying their allocation is 750. I don't meet the criteria so can't get them through the club and waiting until the 24th of July to risk getting through the club ain't worth it.

Can we get them through ticketmaster Ireland?

So was there a lock in last time? What should i expect to pay for a pint in pubs in dublin? I see Murrys have discounts all weekend, how much will it be in there? I see the comment about it being expensive for drink in dublin but you can easily pay 350 a pint in pubs in Hereford which equates to €4 - 450. 

Do you think we'll be ok in villa shirts around dublin after the game. Would getting into clubs be a problem?

Hotel is pointless with flying at 7am.

Flight leaves at 7am so not worth getting a hotel

6 of us coming over for a stag do for this. Fly out on the Sunday from brum, fly back the Monday first thing. No Hotel, a true all dayer!!! **** well up for it. Need some help with pubs that are open all night and somewhere to get something to eat very early on the Monday.

If i remember right. Benteke was a bit of a word removed before arriving here and he had the biggest impact of all.

But do you think we needed a 3rd RB and LB in the squad? Really? I'm not just talking about signing Michu, instead I'm saying look at how far Swansea stretched their transfer budget. You're also guessing on the wages bit so it's all a matter of opinion on this point. I'm sure Westwood and Lowton will prove to be good signings in the future and, as I said, Vlaar and Benteke are good signings. However, I don't think we should have spunked £6.5m on fullbacks and then have no money to bring in a DM. Especially if there is no money left now for players in Jan.

 

You are right with your hindsight comment though. Still doesn't change the fact that I don't think Lambert spent his limited budget well. No loans? People go on about our thin squad but we spunked 1/3 of our budget on fullbacks when we already had 4 in the squad. Bizarre.

I think the club has said that we will not pay the wages of other clubs players anymore hence no loans. 

As villacas said Westwood, Vlaar, Benteke and Lowton have arguably been our best players. We needed a RB for definite, A LB as nothing we had was any good. KEA was getting rave reviews by the media at the start of the season but has gone off the boil.

He's never going to end up at arsenal anyway. When have they ever paid top whack for which we would expect for anyone? They are the club that usually picks up cheap payers and sells then for a profit.

He seemed to tuck in continually on Saturday and then Riise had the run of the left hand side. No where near as poor as Lichaj was when he came on. Lichaj just gave the ball away at every opportunity!

Yes I was at the game. Ireland seemed to be our only player looking forwards first half.

Time and time again we were getting battered down their left side with Risse yet Lowton was continually tucked to far inside. Bennet wad also pretty useless.

We looked solid throughout and I thought Baker had a decent game until he wad injured.

Ireland had a decent game too until subbed.

Nzogbia was awful had numerous opportunities to get to the by line but chose to cut inside and clatter into Fulham players. He is so frustratingly poor. Holman done plenty of running around but had no ability at all.

Strikers were anonymous. Benteke put himself around but missed a sitter.... again!

We are not going to finish top 10 but I can't see us going down. There are worst teams than us thankfully
