If the word began with c, then yeah. But I don't see the problem either...
that was my initial thought that the person objecting to it got confused with goon and c.... yeah.

Jean Makoun Makoun
He doesnt wear fruit of the loom
He dresses like a goon
Jean Makoun Makoun
sorry mate, but the third sentence really is unacceptable.
Unless I'm missing your sarcasm then why is it? :?

Why the hell does he have a "2" in his name?
His dad has the same name as him

to be fair though, Ireland isn't from another country.. it's manchester not spain.. so it shouldn't take this long for him to settle.. just saying.
No, he's not. But if you moved to Manchester and had no idea of where you were and knew none of your team mates or anyone in the area how would you cope? It's not easy...
-
The man will come good... he is too good to just let go easily. One day he'll get a chance and will prove everyone wrong, he's just finding it difficult to settle in a different area to where he's lived all his life.
I thought he still lived in the same place that he did when he played for Man City?
Unless he's moved recently because he had a photoshoot in his house for some Irish magazine just after he moved to Villa and it was the same one he's lived in for years.
Nah he lives around this area now, if you watch the interview when he came he says the player liason officer is going to help him move and settle into the area.
I think that is incredibly positive, personally. At least it shows a level of commitment to move to the area. If he didn't want to be at Villa, he'd have stayed in Manchester area and got his move by now.
There is no doubt about it he wants to be a Villa player and wants to help us get away from the bottom but with someone like Ashley Young playing his position he's not going to get any further than the bench... decent player to have on the bench to come off for the last 20 minutes if he's not injured anymore though. Just a shame he's not been given a real chance and a run of consecutive games... Warnock was played for months of being shit before he was dropped ffs

Hi General, hope you are well.
Are we any further on getting cashpoints inside the ground? The two nearest cash points (Tesco, newsagent near train station - where you have to pay to withdraw money!) are a bit out of the way if you are a Holte Ender like me.
Thanks

Also need two tickets please if any available..

What a waste

I didn't notice him, he needs to get on the wing.
I'm sure for Wigan well have
-------------Petrov---------Makoun--------------
Albrighton---------Young---------------Downing
--------------------Bent-----------------------
And I think that'll be us for the rest of the season.
Makoun will be on the bench, his first training session is Monday and he can't speak English yet!
It will be the same as today against Wigan
-
Yeah not saying he should play CM just saying he'll go unnoticed there. He needs to play on the wing really and we need to drop Gabby.
-
Has it sold out? Tried to buy online and it's not letting me.
-
He played CM at Boro for a bit if I recall correctly, he could do a very good job there but will go unnoticed unless he assists a goal or scores, a bit like Petrov.
-
They're just an expensive Arsenal. Pretty tippy tappy football with quick movement on and off the ball but more often than not no end product. Struggle against teams with strong defences or those looking to "park the bus" as such. They'll probably get CL but they won't get very far in it.

Houllier is doing a great job. Hes identifying where we need to strengthen and hes taking decisive action. This transfer window has been the most productive in years - both transfers in, and transfers out.
The muppets who were calling for his head 3 months into his reign have gone awfully quiet, and i aint surprised. A bit of patience is all thats needed.
Oh and i still and happy about the title of this thread being changed by a certain moderator just to suit his point of view. It was originally called 'we NEED to get behind our manager'. I would like it changed back please.
Thanks.

At least we are equalising now and have shown that we are capable of holding on to a lead against a very, very good Man City side.

New students have moved in nextdoor and they seem to find it incredibly considerate to stumble in from a night out about now shouting and screaming and slamming doors until about 5am. If it wasn't semi detatched I would blow their house up.

Since day one, back him. Never gone back on my word and don't plan to.

Haha well being a music journalist and a freelance sports one too I'd say I definitely get around with my contacts
Think Malpas are beginning to break in London now, but I am trying to book them for H&H so if I do I'll let you know...
-
To be fair POB he did play as a striker against Burnley but that's all I can remember on his litteral position played.
-
Two Jean Makouns! There's only two Jean Makouns
-
I think Houllier is trying to turn him into a CM instead of shipping him out or making him sit on the bench behind Ash - his comments RE: "not working hard enough or defending" say enough to suggest this

Of course it shouldn't. He's been carrying an injury since he got here though but I'd just say he hasn't been given a fair chance and his arguments with Houllier haven't exactly helped matters either.
