Perhaps found out that he is too slow and too slow in the turn to cut it in the PL, I would still play him over Hause though.

    Is he that slow?

The six fastest recorded speeds in the Premier League have been revealed and Leicester City's Caglar Soyuncu tops the list.

The Leicester defender's recorded sprint speed was a staggering 23.3mph, as reported by Give Me Sport.

Soyuncu has formed a formidable partnership with Johnny Evans at the heart of the Foxes' defence.

Leicester have conceded the fewest goals in the Premier League so far this season and Brendan Rodgers side find themselves second in the table.

The next quickest player this season is Southampton's Irish striker Shane Long - clocking a speed of 23.2mph.

The 32-year-old is maintaining his blistering pace as he edges into the twilight years of his career.

In third place is Manchester City's Phil Foden who, despite only racking up 83 minutes in the league, has managed to record a 23.1mph sprint speed.

Foden's City teammate Kyle Walker was joint fourth along with Aston Villa defender Bjorn Engels - the pair were each recorded as running at 22.9mph this season.

Finally, rounding off the six fastest players of the season so far is Newcastle United's Allan Saint-Maxim.

The Frenchman recorded a top speed of 22.8mph in his debut season for the Magpies.

However, much to the Toon faithful's despair, Saint-Maximin injured his hamstring last week - and Steve Bruce reckons it was because he was going so fast.

"He pulled his hamstring doing 22.8mph. I don’t think anybody has run that fast in the Premier League for us before, so what can you do?" Bruce said, per The Sun.

"He ran 30, 40, 50 yards to chase the ball. It was proper sprinting. We all know he’s got lightning pace and he’s got such a low centre of gravity.

"He’s explosive and when you run the way he does, then you’re always a bit susceptible, I suppose. We’ll kick ourselves but, unfortunately, these things happen.

Just to clarify, there is no neutral Club Wembley for this match, it is totally segregated villa west end and derby east.

It is neutral for FA Cup and Carabao Cup etc, but not play offs.

Some resellers mistakingly sold Club Wembley as neutral, as that is the case for normal calendar events!

    From the Club Wembley websites

Replica colours may be worn in some sections at the following (please call us on 0800 783 1442 for specific information):
The Sky Bet Play-Off Finals - Club Colours cannot be worn in Level One Diamond Hospitality. If your ticket is located in Level Two (i.e. block 211 etc)  then club colours are fine.

  3. How does this Club Wembley thing actually work?

I understand the 2000 Club Wembley seats in the Villa section equivalent to the ones Derby released today have been sold already but how did anyone actually purchase them?

From what I can gather these aren't the £400 hospitality ones because Derby also sold out of these following the ballet. All I can see about Club Wembley is a multi game season ticket for £2700+ which doesn't include the play-off finals but you get an option to buy them. So these 2000 on the Villa side have been sold to people with Club Wembley memberships who opted to purchase this game and are probably mostly neutrals rather than Villa fans?

Or is there a different way actual Villa fans got their hands on these tickets officially not through re-sale sites?

  4. Now the 5pm 5+ rush is over with the majority in that category who want to go having purchased this evening, still showing 700 left. A few hundred more may go between now and Monday but there is possibly a block or 2 to still be released. So 3+ booking history should stand a chance if they're in the queue come 5pm Monday where they'll almost certainly go shortly after.

Whats the purpose of holding blocks back for an event that will sell-out regardless..

With the latest criteria change at 5pm today they just opened up block 548 with every seat available which was greyed out earlier today. So they must be holding a few back, not sure why though.

  6. I'm not quite getting the sudden worrying about Fulham, I get the feeling people have seen them charge up the table where as we have not really moved which gives the false impression they are on a much better run of form than Villa and gaining on us quickly.

If you look at the last 10 games though (before which Fulham were sat 10th in the league and already only 5 points behind us)

    Fulham W8 D2 L0 Pts26

    Villa      W8 D1 L1 Pts25

The reality is they have only taken 1 point more than us from their last 10 games (3 of them against us as well!) Or 3 points more over the last 20 games whilst on this crazy run of form people are talking about and we spent a few games without 2 of our most creative players.

I'm confident if we can avoid injuries we'll keep our run of form going, the critical games will be Wolves/Cardiff/Derby as we've struggled all season against the teams around us with Bruce's negative tactics setting up to play for the draw.  Fulham/Cardiff will drop more points this season but not enough for us to get away with dropping 9 points against Wolves/Cardiff/Derby. Hopefully he's learnt this by now and comes out all guns blazing.

There is no doubt though that if we were to miss out Fulham are a better team now after a bad start than Cardiff and I would rather avoid them in playoffs.

  7. I did my first jump around 3 years ago and over 1000 jumps later i work at a Skydiving centre down in Devon currently. It's a highly addictive sport and i can't think of anyone out of the thousands we take skydiving for their first time each year that hasn't enjoyed it.

As for the scared of heights thing we jump loads of people each year that are scared of heights including some of the staff and you're soo high up that the height doesn't effect anyone.

Location close-ish to you i would recommend www.bpslangar.co.uk which is the biggest centre in the country.

For anybody thats ever considered skydiving but never got round to it i can't recommend it enough!
