  1. I'll take a performance like we did in this fixture at the end of the 06/07 season under MON, the European cup winners doing a parade before the game getting the fans right up for it before we absolutely dismantled Sheff Utd 3-0, quite frankly we'd of beaten anybody that day we were fantastic.

  2. Oh my word did anyone happen to catch Talkshite Drive time show last night (yes i know but i was stuck in traffic) with Alan Pardew ? I wasnt a fan of the bloke before hand but my god he loves to blow smoke up his own arse doesnt he. Has he ever actually won anything to back up his own bullshit?

  3. Its funny when i saw the starting line up i really thought what the hell........ it didn't work well against Bournemouth so why use it again. How wrong could I be, easily 10's all round just an incredible team performance and one to make us all proud of.

Bring on Arsenal hopefully we'll go into it with the same fight and belief and we might even get the same result UTV

  4. Foolishly listened to Talkshite last night, the odious Pennent was on the show basically saying Villa only won because City had an "off day"🙄😤 was also pretty confident that Arsenal would win Saturday.

    Cant stand him.

When is Pickford gonna get called out for his aggressive and dangerous attempts to play the man in one on one type situations?

Destroyed van Dijk’s knee a couple of years ago and nearly did the same to Watkins last season(?) and nearly knocked his block off today. It’s his moronic starfish style attack leap which does it- I’ve not seen any other goalkeeper come close to injuring other players that badly

Richard Wright was the same and we all know how that turned out

You Tube Video - This is why Aston Villa want Nicolo Zaniolo

Was it this one? If so I thought the same as you, he dribbles the ball alot but nothing seems to come of it other than he wins fouls in the middle of the pitch, or gives the ball away, has a pop from distance that hits defender or flies over. I did get bored after 4 mins of the same thing in the video though, so maybe the second half of the video is better? 😂

The injury concerns are another major worry, my gut feeling is this won't be a ood signing. I hope that I am wrong though, and to be honest it wouldn't be the first time if I am wrong, I thought that Jordan Ayew would be good once he settled in the PL. 🤣

Yep this is the one i watched, also turned it off after about 4 minutes, actually chuffed someone thought exactly the same as me 😂

It’s fascinating the brand pre conceptions people have. In the past, many years ago, we had a Beetle and then we had a Golf and I loved that Golf.

I’d have a Golf now, I actually like that staid utilitarian styling that hasn’t changed dramatically in 50 years. I’d have one, other than I can get a similarly sized Skoda with the same spec and the same extras for thousands less. About 25% less money, for essentially the same thing.

On the reliability, I can’t complain about a car that went 40,000 miles before it even needed tyres! Coming from owning a C Class that went through tyres every 15,000 miles I find that amazing.

I can’t say I wouldn’t consider a Peugeot, I just don’t automatically think of them, I’m sure they’re fine, I just keep forgetting about them.

I tell people i was brain washed at age 16 when i first started working for Peugeot 😂 , I'm not foolish enough to think there perfect but they're a very underrated car manufacturer.

The diesels were and still are brilliant. The newer 1.6 (120bhp ad blue) 1.5 (130bhp ad blue) pump out similar emissions to a hybrid.

I never had a big hatred for VW but since i've worked at Skoda, i've had to help out at a VW dealer a few times and i've absolutely hated it.

My 2014 Kuga still does everything I could want. I’ve had it 4 or 5 years now and apart from a split rubber hose and a battery, brake pads and tyres it’s been completely unproblematic. It’s very comfortable and has all the bells and whistles.

I sometimes think about replacing it but just can’t justify it.

I've got a 67 plate Mondeo with the Peugeot 180BHP diesel engine in it,  like you other than the usual suspects i absolutely love it.

The mighty 1007, got told an amusing story about one of these where a customer had to get a dealer out to her as those fantastic electric sliding doors decided to kick in while she was trying to get out the car so she was literally half in and half out the car 😂. Peugeot had the 1007 Citroen had the C3 Pluriel they were both dreadful and the sales figures showed it.

  10. I've worked in the motor trade my entire working life mainly for Peugeot/Citroen, currently for a Skoda dealer and can i just say what an absolute shower of sh*t, cars needing new shock absorbers within 12 months seriously. Not sure whats worse Skoda or VW, at VW you get the roadmen ringing up with there Golfs not giving you their reg numbers just telling you what F**kin MARK its is. I could rant on and on but seriously buy a Peugeot not this German crap at least Peugeot's look like someone could be bothered to style them unlike every VW group car that you cant tell the difference of from 10+ years ago.

  11. It's all about the Cadbury's for me, my Nan worked there during WW2 spoke about how they only employed single ladies back then, the minute you got married you had to leave but were showered with gifts.

    Probably explains why i'm a type 2 diabetic 🤣
