I wish Houllier would play Ash on the wing!, and in stark contrast to Makoun, Young was dire tonight.
Same here. I'd relegate Downing to the bench, have Ash and Marc as the wingers, Makoun in the middle with one of Bradley/NRC/Delph alongside him.
Just a shame we got rid of Milner, a central midfield of Jimmy and Makoun would be immense.

I earn slightly over 20k, although for the work I do and the amount of hours I put in (I have been doing 12 hour days recently with no paid over time) I am seriously under paid and am currently in discussions negotiating a pay rise. I have basically given them a figure of what I require, if they don't meet it then I am out of there.

Still buzzing from this - great result and great performance.
Collins and Petrov were both outstanding.
I love the fact Bent only had about 5 touches of the ball in the whole match yet his contribution was massive - how good is it to know we have somebody we can rely on regularly for goals!
On another note - he needs a new chant!

SHA Forum .......Brilliant. Yet another Darren bent thread where we come across as bitter, trying to find a way to turn this into a negative. Trust me, no matter how we dress this up or try to make out that this is a waste of money.....it ain't. He has a phenomenal record for scoring goals and the sooner we accept it as a good signing for the twelve toers the better, let's just move on for fecks sake. The vile are a bigger club: deal with it. Players like Darren bent don't come to my club, which is why we r linked to the robbie keanes and Kenny millers of this world. It's sad but its true, but I've had it for the past 35 years.

My god I can't take until 4pm, it would be great if a few wandered out Taiwo, Samba and Bent - that really would be hilarious.
This has to be the most unproductive 1.5 day of my working life. I just realised I haven't even sent an email since this broke. Awful. Off to bluff my way through a meeting before some good news hopefully.
I booked this week off work for no reason other than to use some holiday before March before I lose it.
Turns out I picked the right week to have off 8)

Agree with this.
I know a guy who is on his 3rd iPhone in about 6 months. I've had mine 12 months and it is still in near perfect condition. He asked me the other day how I haven't smashed it to pieces by now.
Because I'm not a **** spastic was my answer.
