My first post here for probably about 10 years.
I'm sure I have spent today doing the same as all of you by aimlessly scrolling through Twitter every 2 minutes. Thought I would come here to say I am convinced that Jack is staying. Absolutely nothing to base that on other than my gut feel.

Some inbred just called Tom Ross on BRMB and genuinely suggested that SHA fans are, in his words, the best fans in the world
-
thegoalzone Tom Ross
We can't say Blues news until the morning, but listen to the news on brmb, every half hour from 6am. Will post on here in the morning
Tom Ross' latest Tweet... I will make a point of sticking BRMB on in the morning.

if they go into Administration, wouldnt there be a good chance they could disappear?
Fingers crossed!

Love it... his album is going to blow anything Liam every does with Beady Eye out of the water. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album, especially the finished version of 'I Wanna Live In A Dream (In My Record Machine)'.

Does anybody know if any of the local radio stations covering the game?

Whether this was scripted or not, CM Punk is absolutely right with everything he says.
I don't know if he is going to leave after the Money In The Bank PPV or not. I have a feeling he may want to return to ROH, but Vince and the WWE should be doing all they can to keep CM Punk. He is the most talented wrestler they have on their roster and he is the best at cutting promos, he knows this himself, I'm sure most of the WWE locker room know this and after reading a WWE forum to see the general reaction to this promo, it seems the majority of WWE fans recognise this as well.
This guy could be huge, I mean on the level of Stone Cold, The Rock, Bret Hart, HBK etc and the WWE need to recognise this and do all they can to keep him.

Such sad news, puts everything into perspective.
RIP. Holte Ender In The Sky.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that an Ancelotti appointment doesn't mean great deal at the moment. He had money and an already decent team at Chelsea so couldn't do much but look successful. even Avram Grant was a post away from winning the Champions League. Can Ancelotti do it at a club like Villa? Where he can't sign just anyone? he's as untested as a Paul Lambert on this regard and for that reason I'd be fairly sceptical if he were appointed.
Ancelotti would be a huge statement of intent.
And let's look at it from a player's point of view... who would you rather play for, Carlo Ancelotti... or Paul Lambert?

Are we totally discounting hughes on a sky sports understands ? Or is there a club statement - still think hughes is most probable maybe randy doesn't want to be seen as poaching - please not rafa or mclaren
This is what I dont get, Sky sprts are saying that sky sources have heard and then they suddenly change that into avfc say that hes not in the running, talk about twisting words..
I think we should be looking at Mat Kendrick because avfc seem to tip him off first, if hes got nothing to say about it, then I wont believe it tbh
Kendrick has been quiet since this afternoon.
SSN have just said Fulham have released a statement saying nobody can approach Hughes until his contract has officially expired at the end of June. I doubt we will want to wait that long.
-
Now it seems unlikely we'll get Hughes I feel like I want him more.
Same here.
Anything but Coco McClown.

I don't quite understand how Scholes is so highly rated.
Don't get me wrong I think he was a good player.
But I don't think he was as good as Gerrard.
Maybe it's because I watched him after he had peaked (can't really remember him playing for England.)
Also I prefer Gerrard because he played a lot more for England.
I can remember a period when Scholes always used to score, like he was the old Lampard.
But yeah, I think he was good, but not that good.
For me Gerrard was better.
Gerrard isn't fit to lace Scholes' boots.
Read the quotes from some true greats about Scholes posted earlier in this thread. You won't hear anybody talking that way about Steven Gerrard any time soon. Scholes is of his position in his generation.
I don't quite understand it.
Was Scholes amazing when he was in his 20s?
I've only watched him when he was in his 30s.
And Gerrard was better...
In his prime, other than tackling which he never mastered and which sometimes let him down, every aspect of his game was up there with the very best in the world.
I think he if ever learnt to tackle he would be considered one of the all time great midfielders of the game, he was that good.

A Bluenose at work said to me today, 'Congrats on staying up Villa... it only cost you £24m.'
What a tool.

I can't think of a team who deserve relegation more than SHA.
Literally everything about them is so **** small time.
Even when they won the cup nobody turned up to see them parade it around the Sty. We got more turn up to watch a training session at VP.
-
I'm still absolutely buzzing from this game. Going to have a big smile on my face all week.
Hopefully we have many more days like this next season!
-
The man is going to be a Villa legend.
I just wish we signed him under MON. We would have witnessed CL football at VP this season if we had.
-
hmmmm so if wigan draw and both blackpool n SHA lose, SHA go down?
We only need Blackpool or Wigan to get a point to see SHA down as long as Spurs do the business against them.
It's even possible for them to go down if all three teams lose.
-
I think Wigan can get a point from Stoke.
And surely United will play a weakened team against Blackpool with Barca coming up. I think at least one of them will snatch a point, let's just hope Spurs do the business for us.
-
Great great performance, so proud to be a Villa fan today.
The results in the other games were brilliant as well, making this a perfect day.

Far, far worse season than this one, or the DOL or Taylor seasons.
It's not just the on pitch performances tho - It's all the shite that's gone off it aswel.
Player revolt,
Fighting amongst each other,
Steven Ireland debarcle,
Bad mouthing the club,
The defeat at Newcastle,
Warnock incident,
Small heath knocking us out the cup then going on to win it,
Houllier at Liverpool,
The wasted cup game at citeh...
Wolves home defeat,
I could go on and on as there's a list as long as my arm..
Agree with this completely.
We have been a joke on the pitch and off the pitch. This is the worst season we've had in my life time.
I remember 93/94, the Norwich match was shown on a screen at VP and I remember going to watch it with my old man. But I was young and didn't really understand/care enough at that point that we were staring relegation right in the face.
This season has been a nightmare and I can't wait until it's over.

Bolton one is horrendous. Do they try and make the worst kit every year?
I'm glad Reebok don't make our kits anymore if we'd end up with a monstrosity like that.
-
Just found a guy on a forum from Google with the same problem, he thinks the same thing, there is either dust or a bit of water damage in the dock.
It can't be water damage as this has happened over night and it hasn't been anywhere near water, so it must be dust.
But apparently there is no way to clean it without buying a piece of kit for around £35?
Is there anyway to restore the phone to its factory settings without connecting it to iTunes?
