Dont be absurd, Messi is obviously a striker!
So is Agbonlahor.
-
I really can't think of another player I'd be happy for us to sign for the left wing either.
Not a single other player you'd be happy with on the left-wing?
Messi?

Can we have a simple poll please mods?
Just a simple Yes/No/Not bothered about the blue Scot.
I think its pretty obvious what the feeling is...Cant see how a poll will help..
I would like a poll to see if the fans share the same stance on the applications having Prem Experiance though as the board.
I'd like a poll highlighting why people don't want McLeish.
The blues thing has absolutely no bearing for me, I hate his tactics and that he has a terrible record in the premier league.
-
Its not his small heath connection that i'm bothered about , i know it is to some fans , its his shit football tactics that bothers me . I'm clinging to the small hope that this is nothing more than an interview and he wont be given the job .
Bang on.

psycho has a cushy number that i cant see him giving up
Capellos punchbag?
-
The longer this goes on, the more i'm convinced it could be Psycho. It would certainly explain the wait...and the 1 to 2 weeks GK mentioned. And they wouldn't want to say anything while he was away with the U21's.....And he knows his way to VP.....
Only if he brings his daughters lucky toy donkey.

too right the deserting lepricorn!!!Back to slagging off MON.That will solve everything.
40/1 on his return. :winkold:

I don't understand why the media focus is on the ex-blues connection.
My sole concern is that he's a terrible, terrible manager.
-
It won't be McLeish. I guarandamntee it. Trust me, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN.
-
I don't think many of us could admit that Martinez was their 1st choice at the start of the summer.
But, if it's him, we as fans have to give him a chance. What else can we do??
-
I like Coyle, but not at VP, not yet.
What he did at Burnley is comparable with Phil Brown and Holloway... they just didn't jump ship whilst things were rosy. What he's done with Bolton is solid, but nothing special yet.

ive looked at mclarens career record and it still hasnt convinced me at all he should be our manager. he got middlesbough to a high of 7th 1 season, apart from that bottom half of the table.won the league cup and beat bolton. not a very hard challenge.poor
Also got them to the uefa cup final.
I think his job at Boro was better than poor, but didn't pull up trees.
It's a no from me, simply because I'd have greater confidence in what I perceive to be better candidates elsewhere.

Definitely agree with your point on Hansens critiscism of Hanley. I felt the same at the time.
If Hanley bee-lines to close the ball down straight away Downing simply slides the ball to Bent and he's no chance of getting back. His best option was to take away the Downing>Bent pass behind him, before moving across when Downing gets more dangerous closer to the box.

I believe Downing's on.

Jean Deux = Fashion Guru.
I genuinely love him already.

£24mil?
Pricey yes, but it ain't my money.....
-
Anyone See him telling all the players to go an applaud the fans?
I noticed this at Stamford Bridge too, none of them were going to until he told them
I've noticed it a couple of times..... ever since the Liverpool debacle.
-
I think the non-celebration was a signal of 'ok, but let's win this'.
Before Makoun/Walker arrived I wanted him gone, but he's earnt a stay of execution in my eyes. If not also for making the entirety of a transfer window an interesting period, not just the last 2 days.
-
100% totally behind GH.
Right up until the moment I push him off the cliff.
-
As long as we get someone who plays attacking football and not anti-ball then I'll be fine with that. Add using the subs and clearing out some of the wage bill then I'll be delighted
....oh, and winning the league whilst uniting the world in harmony and peace?
-
I just don't 'get' the Keane thing?!
He took a big, albeit failing championship team up. He spent loads of money on very average players at Sunderland. They just about survived. Then didn't he walk out in a hissy fit? And the best he could get was ipswich?
No thanks, no way, over-rated. Manager reputation based purely on his player image.

I'm clinging to the hope that things might be clearer if Dynamo Kiev dump Ajax out of the CL qualifiers.
I like Jol and hope he succeeds, but even on the off-chance it changes things, I'll be 100% supporting Kiev this week.
-
I want the job, but I've also had no contact from Randy.
I'm paddling in the same boat as hollywood Bob.

Isn't this Bob Bradley rumour being reported by talksport? That well known font of all knowledge.

Well fortunately we've solved that little problem now. :winkold:
