Sheez Pirlo.

Rooney should be dropped from the next game.
-
Our crossing, apart from the one for the goal, has been absolutely woeful.
I dunno, Sterling whipped in that low cross that no-one bothered attacking.
-
Lallana to rescue the game.

Come on ref, whip out the can of deodorant.
Ooh, close. Good save.

What we need is a "young and hungry" policy.
-
Rooney you twit!
-
Good tackle by the ref there. Could have at least left his studs in.
Yet another corrupt ref! Blatter out!

Fudge.

Actually I've changed my mind; I'd rather have Hoddle.

Am I the only one who thinks Ferdinand's not too bad at this?

Wow. Nice one Jagielka.

Well in, Wellbeck.

Rooney finally starts playing.

Flip.

Dammit Sturridge, be taller! Where's Crouch when you need him?

I honestly can't see how anyone at the Beeb thought Neville had a good voice for commentary.

Great attacking start. This is going to go wrong, isn't it?

I can't say that Croatia deserved to win, purely because their keeper was awful, but Brazil certainly didn't deserve to win that. If they play like that against some of the other teams they're going to need a few more questionable refereeing decisions.
Oscar motm.

Definitely thought there was a foul in the build up. Keeper still should have done better.

I'm currently cheering for a typical David Ruiz defensive blunder.
-
Absolutely should have saved it.

Soft. Despite home much I hate agreeing with Townsend.

Hmm. Don't think we played too badly overall - I just think Italy saw what we had to offer and realised they could soak it up. A couple of good individual performances but some disappointing play from the established players and a general inability to break down Italy's defence. Sturridge and Stirling were good, the rest were okay except for Rooney and Baines who were poor.
