    Food is incredible when tripping

I think almost everything are incredible when tripping. Never been sooo fascinated by a lightbulb as an example :D

So... any advice for a first time magic truffler? Got a week in Amsterdam for the first time since Covid (used to head over once a year to have a fun weekend on the space cakes) and the wife fancies giving the truffles a go (kenneth.jpg).

I'm thinking same approach I take with the cakes should do it; sequester ourselves in the comfy AirBnB for the evening, get lots of tasty food and plenty of water in and have at it (have also got my usual playlist of albums I want to listen to whilst journeying through the cosmos).

This is what i use to do when doing truffels in Amsterdam. Stay in my apartment with food, and good things to eat,and drink (not alcohol). The truffels taste really bad,so be sure to have something to eat right after eating them. I am most used to mushrooms, and only having to eat a handful of them. I got shocked when seeing the truffels came in 10,and 15 gram boxes (if i remember correct),and was supposed to be one trip. Almost a smal meal :D There were three,or four kinds of truffels to chose from, from with different effects. Beeing semi-used to psychedelic  things i went for the heaviest version, and the 15 gram box,and id really gave me a trip for a few hours. My friend i travelled with threw it all up 15 minutes after he ate it,and kept to smoking after that :D

They added the third person mode to RE Village late last year, but it's locked behind the 'Winters' Expansion' DLC so to get the mode you need to give Capcom more money. I think they also released an RE Village: Gold Edition which comes with the DLC for those that didn't own the game already. Once you have the DLC you can select "options" from the main menu, then go to the "camera" tab, and once in there you can select "third-person" for the view mode.

Thanks. I didnt know that. I dont own the game,so i think i will buy the gold edition, and warm ut to RE4 with it.

  4. I wrote release later this year. It is later this month. Realized that just yesterday :D

Dont know why,but i thought this was coming much later. I havent played Village. I dont like the first person view at all. Did play RE7. And liked it,but heard Village is coming with a third person view,so i am waiting for that. Totally agree with the above that RE6 was a bad game. I think they had a couple of games i am not a to big fan of after RE4. After RE4 i didnt get really excited playing a RE game until the remake of RE2

I've never played the game so have no real attachment to the story or the characters, I've found it good mainly because I'm trying to get my head around how they got the post-apocalyptic world to look like it does.  Either the most amazing computer imagery I've seen or the most insanely expensive set designs.  The story is OK, I find the guy a better actor than the girl but he was great in Narcos too and this must be her first major role so expected.  The gay episode seemed a bit like the fly episode of Breaking Bad to me but still worth a watch.

Edit: also the diarrhea joke was a 10/10

And in Game Of Thrones. He was a perfect Oberyn Martell.

GoW 2018 is probably my favourite game.

    Ragnorok isn't :(

    Essentially it boils down to (********SPOILERS!!!!!!!*******);

      Reveal hidden contents

    - The story feeling rushed compared to the first.  There's so much going on, you don't get a chance to develop any feelings towards the characters, they're all kind of doing their own thing and you do yours.  the third act in particular... the war on Asgard which has been prophesized over 2 games, lasts about 30 minutes (feels like).

    - The new characters feel off to me.   Thrud, Surtr, Freyr - who cares?  I don't mind that Agraboda was black, but it is out of place for Norse mythology, but again it's fine.

    - Dialogue - the amount of needless swearing makes it seem more like a HBO show written for 18-25 year olds.  Also, that "Marvel" "smart mouth" where everyone has something "witty" to say after a close-call or something cool happens far too often (Kratos excluded, he doesn't do this).

    - Atreus play sections.  After the second time, he's quite boring and there are about 6 times you play as him.

    - Jotunheim - wow, the pacing is painfully slow, the pay off is tiny and it's forced on you.  I would kick that Yak's ass if I could.  Again, boring dialogue between the characters.

    - Big snake is only in it for like a minute or so, tops?!! Jormungandr is one of the coolest things about 2018... I was really disappointed we didn't see anything other than a "really far off distance, blue spec Thor bop him on the nose and he disappears" when the mythology about their Epic battle was enough to send him back in time.. it was just so "is that it?!"

    - Freya ended the last game swearing vengeance on you, spend all of 2 minutes in this one trying to hurt you, then spends the rest of the game helping you out.. pretty forgetful (or just overly dramatic?!)

    what I DID like:

    - Kratos is just a cool character.  His growth through the two games is really good.  The mechanics for him feel weighty and powerful, I love everything about him

    - Some of the cut scenes were really good and the over-arching story is good - it's just filtered down by the sass I mentioned above.

    - I enjoyed the game as a whole, despite my moaning, I'll go back and get the platinum (nearly done already to be honest), which will make this and GoW 2018 my only platinums - worthy!

    - Thor.  I liked Thor.  I thought his story was good, I thought he was acted really well and he seemed like a decent match for Kratos.  His hammer and stuff were great.

    - Sindri - I didn't like the dwarves too much in the first one, but he's a star in this one.

    - Garm fight

    - Nidhoff fight

    - Heimdall fight

    - Really good set pieces.

    Overall, after a 10/10 for the 2018 game, I'm giving this a 7.5 sadly :(

Please give me more Kratos mr developer sir.

This sums up what i feel about it very well. I liked it,but nowhere near as much as the 2018 game. It was just more of the same with a story that didnt grab me like the first one did. Still a good game. I just wanted to be amazed like i was when i finished the 2018 game,The Last of Us 1,and 2. But when i knew i started to get near the end of the game i just wanted to get to the end credits,so i could start up another game.

The last game i played was Elden Ring, and i had Bloodborne ready to start,so i might be a bit biased from beeing on a From Software fix lately :D

Unsurprisingly elden ring won at the game awards last night, its not my thing but its still one of those games where I can see it and understand and appreciate how good it is and why people will like it even if I don't, almost like I'm disappointed that I don't like from software games

Also saw that marvel snap won best mobile game, well deserved, I've dropped off massively but it is a very good fun game

Stray won best indie game, I must have put 7 minutes in to it so unfair for me to judge, will have to go back to it

You should try Stray again. It was a very good game. Dont know what to say other than i thought it was a "feelgood game". Beeing a catowner helps giving me a softspot for it i think :D

Have you tried Elden Ring? It isnt as hard,or "repetative" as the other From Softwaregames can be.. The staminabit is much more forgiving, and i had few problems with lots of the bosses, and i had only played Sekiro from the FS company before. The only negative  thing is that i now has grown  to like the FS games, and have started Demons Souls since it was free on PS+,and have abandoned God Of War Ragnarok for it for some time now :D

    Advice please

Dark Souls or Elden Ring, I've heard they are very similar

Elden Ring.. As mentioned above here,if you like it,there are all the other games from From Software that you will enjoy if you like this. I have only played a few From Software games. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice beeing my favourite so far. I think Elden Ring is by far their biggest game. I think i used a little under 150 hours to complete. Sekiro took about 30 IIRC

Honeymoon period once again is over.

He needs to take the blame for the goalkeepers passing out from the back

I  think Luiz have to be much more active there. MacAllister reads the situation a lot quicker, and steal the ball. It doesnt happen if Luiz is more turned on.

  10. Watched the two first seasons of Fargo again since it is on a streaminservice i recently got. In my top five Tv series ever. I wouldnt change one minute of those seasons. Everything is perfect. Camerawork, the set,the casting, the actors,pacing... And Lorne Malvo is the best bad guy in any tv show.

    Just finished playing TLOU2.

    What an amazing game 10/10.

That story is better than a lot of big budget films!  Absolutely hated Abby… and then grew to love her more than Ellie.

Easily the best game I’ve played on the PS4 and on par with the best game I played on the PS3 (Uncharted 2).

I agree. It is such a good game. I wouldnt claim i grew to love Abby nowhere near as much as i like Ellie, but i can go as far as to say i stopped hating her as the game progressed :)

Some of the best, most intence parts of the game was with Abby, and that helped a lot. Defeating The Ratking, etc. I think this is a game i will play over, and over. The original TLOU i think i have finished ca ten times.
