I have been a massive Lambert supporter from day 1 and have always defended his decisions. Although I am starting to fall off the bandwagon. I am not itk and I don't know what happened behind the scenes in January but I think not buying a different type of midfielder could be Lambert's/villas downfall. Tonight was especially poor because of the tactics employed which comes down to the manager, I can't blame Lambert for the 2 goals which were lapses in concentration but his tactics he will have to take the blame for, particularly when we were playing good football at home a few weeks ago against west brom and in the last 20 mins against west ham we played good football and maybe should of pegged at least one back. I think albrighton needs to start as he offers something no one else in our team does. Perhaps Lambert sees him as a weapon off the bench, to attack tired legs, but we arnt in a position to enjoy that luxury, anyone who can make a difference should be starting. End rant

Would anyone have Barry back in the summer since he is out of contract?

I wish we took him back in the last window on loan instead of Everton, he's playing great over there in a team that is sitting in the top 6. Would of been great to have an experianced composed head at times this season

I liked how we looked when he came on, as a natural wide player he hugs the touch line and gives us better shape. I think he should get a new deal and I hope he stays on

Poor game by benteke yet still 2 brilliant chances that weren't poorly finished just very unlucky, that shows the quality of the player

Beautiful football for that chance, best 15 seconds of the game, great awareness by Westwood to put it wide then a great cross. Really unlucky

I feel bad for benteke he doesn't get the service he deserves. I can't imagine how many he would score with some decent/consistent crosses and passes to him

This is just the kind of game a CNZ could come in handy, if I remember rightly he played excellent against the hammers last year

Certainly see those given, what happened with Andi there, I just think unfortunately for us he looked a little like he tripped over his own feet

im feeling good about this half we are letting swansea knock it around and seem to be clearing it when the ball gets close to our area and we look a threat on the break, i think n'zog is starting to look better and hopefully plays a big role in the back half of our season

i was so dissapointed to see us lose 6-0, but too see every player at there with the Aston Villa crest on their chest playing with no heart what so ever was tragic, despite the circumstances Villa heads should of stayed high and fought on untill the final whistle but we simply crushed under the pressure
