  1. holding my hands up - didnt want him from the start... didn't give him a chance.. would nevertheless of been happy to be proven wrong.. regretably haven't.... Also didn't want Houllier... similar story.... did want O'Neill - got pissed off when 'fans' maligned him......
100% that. Could never support another though (especially not spuds) which is probably the reason why I am so pissed off

ha! I did then post the supporting spurs bit was a joke... am still depressed... may just go cry in another glass of wine... this on top of a shitty season for Maclaren is just too much for me to take..

  3. Attendance is a tad concerning given they were doing seats for a tenner on this game... thought it would be a sellout.

Felt the game could have gone either way but nowt wrong with our performance - think both teams played well. As for Ireland - not exactly a good luck charm is he? both games he's played we've lost...

  4. Reo-Coker was awful. His passing all over the place. That and his decision making with the ball messed up numerous attacks and put us in trouble at the back too.

Totally disagree, NRC broke up play well and got forward on the right occasions. Being on a yellow card for so long I was worried but he kept disciplined and didn't do any rash challenges.

Ditto - he was quite aggressive but in a positive way. Thought he showed a lot of heart.

  5. Gutted if it's Bob Bradley, not the right calibre at all - we'll be a joke... Would like Jol but that ain't gonna happen... don't rate any of the other names we've been linked with... still mourning O'Neill who may have pissed everyone off but got results and would have continued to do that, and more, had he been given what he wanted.

  6. Gutted but don't blame any of our players for the loss - we were beaten by a better team. Special mention to Milner who just makes me feel all warm and gooey every time I watch him. Also thought Gabby worked his socks off today. Dunne was unlucky to pay such a high price for a very rare mistake. We'll bounce back - bring on the FA cup final lads!

  7. Latest mantis pic - still not very big!

Have you entered the Guardian competition? This month, the theme is macro, and I think it closes on Monday.

Closed last night but just snuck in on time - thanks. Useful to know about that as they have a flickr group which you can post a series of pics to. Am going to have to take a photography course next year, feel I've achieved what I can on my own and need some help now!

  8. Wales knocks the socks off France imo :winkold:

Went to Bristol for the Banksy exhibition - took one look at the queue and thought not a chance! Ended up snapping squirrels in the park instead lol
