  1. They show this on BBC America but I think we must be a series behind you. They just had one where they did a road trip across the deep south and almost got murdered by a bunch of rednecks.

  2. I can't pick any of them! I just hate all of the big 4. I hate the idea of a big 4. All the Americans that cheer for them are obnoxious bandwagoners and act like they're entitled to finishing there every year. No offense to any Yankees or Red Sox fans but it's like asking me to choose between those 2. Yuck.

  3. We offer 23mill to hamburg for kompany,de jong, and van der vaart. They are well worth it and would improve our team vastly.

Hamburg were in a relegation battle for a time in a poor league.

If these three are so brilliant, the 8 supporting them must be awful.

Kompany had a disappointing start and then was out injured for most of the year. Not sure about De Jong but Van Der Vaart is their best player and definitely not overhyped.

Another gifted youngster to roll off the AFC Ajax production line, Nigel de Jong is a slight but strong young defender or midfield player who looks set for a fine future.

    Club

Born in November 1984, he broke into the Ajax first team in 2002/03 at the age of 17, playing ten games in the UEFA Champions League and 17 in the Eredivisie. De Jong's first goal for the club was a crucial one, earning Ajax a 1-1 Champions League draw at Highbury. Frequently employed as a substitute at the start of 2003/04, he then capitalised on the absence of Hatem Trabelsi through injury and international duty to stake a claim for the right-back position and made 23 starts as Ajax reclaimed the Eredivisie crown from PSV Eindhoven. In 2004/05 he became a regular choice as he switched to midfield, scoring five Eredivisie goals for the runners-up. The following season brought a move to Hamburger SV in the winter transfer window although the Bundesliga failed to see the best of De Jong in his first few months at the club.

  5. Rocafella do you know of any Norwegian players that play in France?

We have actually had a fair share the last few years. Fakiri, Carew, Riise, Kvarme, Rekdal, Nyan to name a few. If its of any use.

I found this via a google search- Fakiri is represented by Per A Flod but he was at Borussia Monchengladbach. He was at Monaco until 2005.

Norway international Hassan El Fakiri is targeting a move to a Premiership club this summer.

The midfielder announced he would leave Borussia Monchengladbach following their relegation from the Bundesliga, and is now hoping to ply his trade in England.

"We have contacted some clubs in England," the player's agent, Per A. Flod, told Aftenposten.

"We'll see what happens, but I expect that many clubs would be interested in signing a player of his quality."

Who knows? Just thought I'd post my findings. That article is from May 22.

  6. Future England Internations of..

"is it true that ure off to newcastle, u cud ave bin a hammers legend if u stayed. well done 4 screwing up ure career m8."

  8. Sorry, let me say it without the sarcasm. Manchester United have the luxury of being able to pick whomever they want in the transfer market so I don't think the comparison is a fair one. Martin O'Neill has to sell players that his club has the potential to be as successful as Manchester United. Sir Alex just has to point to their trophy room.

  9. On another note...A top European football club and the winners of Premier League has said that they most probably have done their signings for this summer. Well...it is only Man U...we dont need to follow their lead because a club like Man U dont know much. :winkold:

 How ever does Manchester United do it?!?! They're constantly attracting world class talents to the club- MON could learn a thing or two from Sir Alex. :winkold:

  10. I just saw an article about who might leave West Ham and they threw in at the end that Paul Konchesky might go to Aston Villa. :?:

Also fansfc has a blurb about MON targeting Gilet Barnes from Derby

No idea if this has been posted but I'm sure it's crap.

Wow, there are a lot of terrible news sources, I found one that says Bramble will likely go to Pompey, Birmingham City or Aston Villa.
