  1. Whichever team Craig Gardner says will make it.  (I picked the Giants because of their defense)

They show this on BBC America but I think we must be a series behind you. They just had one where they did a road trip across the deep south and almost got murdered by a bunch of rednecks.
  3. I can't pick any of them! I just hate all of the big 4. I hate the idea of a big 4. All the Americans that cheer for them are obnoxious bandwagoners and act like they're entitled to finishing there every year. No offense to any Yankees or Red Sox fans but it's like asking me to choose between those 2. Yuck.
  4. Hamburg were in a relegation battle for a time in a poor league. If these three are so brilliant, the 8 supporting them must be awful. Kompany had a disappointing start and then was out injured for most of the year. Not sure about De Jong but Van Der Vaart is their best player and definitely not overhyped.

  6. MON has a Nigel only transfer policy this summer. Are there any other Nigels available?
  7. I keep waiting for a post from thetrees saying that Daniel Alves and Miroslav Klose have been spotted at BHX! Ok maybe not them, but someone please!
  8. I don't know if this is even worth mentioning but the Sun has an "exclusive" regarding Alan Smith not getting a new contract at Man United. It says Spurs, Everton, Boro and Villa will enter a bidding war for him.
  9. We have actually had a fair share the last few years. Fakiri, Carew, Riise, Kvarme, Rekdal, Nyan to name a few. If its of any use. I found this via a google search- Fakiri is represented by Per A Flod but he was at Borussia Monchengladbach. He was at Monaco until 2005. link Who knows? Just thought I'd post my findings. That article is from May 22.
  10. Add Ashley to that list also!! :winkold: you guys do know it's McClaren who's in charge don't you There's a simple solution to that. Legally change their names: Gary Cahill-Neville, Luke Neville, Gabriel Neville, Nigel Reo-Neville, Craig Neville, and just to change things up.....Ashley Jenas.
  11. Wow, I couldn't figure out what you guys were talking about "celebrates with a dummy" until someone posted the picture. Over here a dummy is a puppet you use in a ventriloquist act. I'm not sure which is more strange.
  12. Can anyone on myspace spell? May 31 2007 4:23A "is it true that ure off to newcastle, u cud ave bin a hammers legend if u stayed. well done 4 screwing up ure career m8."
  13. That article sounds like damage control for a player who is struggling to draw interest.
  14. Sorry, let me say it without the sarcasm. Manchester United have the luxury of being able to pick whomever they want in the transfer market so I don't think the comparison is a fair one. Martin O'Neill has to sell players that his club has the potential to be as successful as Manchester United. Sir Alex just has to point to their trophy room.
  15. How ever does Manchester United do it?!?! They're constantly attracting world class talents to the club- MON could learn a thing or two from Sir Alex. :winkold:
