Problems:

1- His refusal to sign a major first team player from outside of the U.K which results in the signing of players who are not technically good enough. We cannot retain possession of the football and as a result the defence gets put under more pressure than they should. Central midfield gets overrun. Sidwell contributes nothing, reo-coker is defensively sound, but cannot pass the ball.

2- His defensive signings are clearly not good enough. Cuellar is slow, cannot pass the ball and get's turned by movement far too easily, the same for Davies...except he has a bit of pace!

3- He says it is going to be difficult to replace Barry & Laursen. He has had many many months knowing both would be going, and has done nothing except throw a young kid from the 3rd division in at the deep end, which is very unfair on Delph i just hope it does not ruin him. As for replacing Laursen after saying he would not sell a player before having a replacement already signed, he sold Knight and has replaced him with..nobody. Now any team we approach will know of our desperation for central defenders and the price will go up! Does that approach not seem slightly naive?

He has a few weeks to sort out the problems that were glaringly obvious LAST SEASON, if he does not then he has no excuse and will deserve the criticism he will receive.

I doubt seeing as The General is a director is the club it would be wise for him to give his personal opinions on Barry. I am sure that is kept between himself MON and Randy, and that's the way it should be.

Where did i say i was denying it? ALL i said was CONSTANTLY reminding all fans of it is bit embarrasing. The badge, the banner on the middle of the north stand, now this flag all pay homage to our past history.

I am in no way deriding our past as i like all villa fans are rightly proud of what we have achieved, but the seemingly constant need to harp on about it in everything designed since Randy took over is a bit over the top.

Marlon King has revealed he will not consider his future until Watford's Premiership fate has been sealed.

The Hornets are almost certain to slip out of the top flight, as they are 11 points adrift of safety with only five games remaining.

Their Premiership challenge was not helped by the long-term knee injury King suffered last year, but he made a surprise return in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester United.

King admitted he was happy to make a return to action, but the talk quickly moved to the powerful forward's future.

He has been linked with a move to Aston Villa and although admitting to being flattered by the transfer talk, King claims his focus is on Watford's final five games of the season.

"It's a big club; nice surroundings," King told The Times upon his exit from Villa Park after the defeat to United. "It's nice speculation but I just want to focus on getting fit and scoring goals."

Asked whether he should remain at Watford next term following a season of injury torment, King said: "I can't comment on that because we're not down yet so you'll have to ask me again once we are relegated.

"I've scored [almost] 25 goals in 50 games for Watford so as much as Watford have been good for me, I've been good for Watford. We've been good for each other. I get on well with the gaffer and the fans."

Hello General, thanks to yourself and Randy for getting my passion for this club back to the way it should be I cant wait to see where we go in the next few years under the new board. Personally now Mr Ellis have left i have bought my season ticket and spent as much as i could afford to try and help us along the journey we are about to embark on.

I was wondering, as i am an avid NFL folllower for many years, do you support an NFL team (or do you have to say the Browns to avoid geting Randy mad?!)
