As you can see , a lot of people are over reacting to saturdays defeat. I will not jump on that wagon but i am very worried .

Ive watched villa for four decades so have witnessed some very poor and very good football.

I would be gutted to see martin suffer the three year villa manager syndrome but as i sat there saturday i could not help feeling i had seen the same desperate performance under Turner , Atkinson , Little , Gregory , Taylor and Oleary.

That kind of football has been present since the turn of the year and in the past has seen the manager walk or be removed.

Martin knows more about football than i do and you guys are doing a fantastic job behind the scenes but if we dont get at least three new players in i think the next four months could be very painfull.

Visited the new Holte suite before saturdays game and may i say well done. I like the way the fit and finish seems to replecate the Holte pub.

How close are we to revealing the future development plans for the stadium.

Would be nice to see them before the end of the season ,if the season does fizzzle away would be nice to end on a positive note .

Can I say how disappointed I am with the decision to play our home reserve games over 30 miles from Villa Park. A 60-70 miles round trip will unfortunately rule out the majority of regular reserves watchers and will make it difficult to support the youngsters this season.

Would it not have been more sensible to seek out a local option like Sutton Town or Solihull Moors?

It seems very surpising that the club could not source another stadium within the City or at least within the County.

Will the club be publishing more information once we get closer to the games?

As someone who lives 30 miles from villa park can i say this is a great idea.

Lots of villa fans in hinkley and nuneaton.

My son has played in football tournaments at hinkley utd and the setup is superb .

myself along with three others have booked holiday , flights and hotels for the hamburg game. We have done this in advance of not even knowing if the game will still mean anything .

Would it be a good idea for people who have allready undertaken this commitment to inform the club , ie some form of registration , so then when ticket allocation is confirmed the club would then be able to set aside enough minus official travel ?

With the blackburn home game being on a wednesday night and in the middle of people forking out a lot for european games it has the potential to be the lowest gate of the season by some way.

As a fan of 35 years i am truly ashamed by some of the comments aimed at yourself , Randy and martin.

People are letting frustration and hurt over the Barry saga get the better of them .

The work done in the last two years to get the team back into europe and the vast improvement in infrastructure has been awsome.

Please sir keep the faith and keep up the wonderfull work you are all doing .

Just a last point on the plans for villa park , will the be announced some time soon ?

Can i just say i dont give a monkeys chuff about a certain player staying or going , what will be will be .

I do care about the lives of very ill children and there families being greatly improved through the wonderfull and priceless exposure this will give them .

I am a season ticket holder in the trinity road stand and look forward to the changes ahead.

Randy and the team have moved mountains in a very short time and europe beckons .

I just have one negative point , that being i think you should spread youreself a bit thinner regarding the time you spend on forums , people in my humble opinion expect too much from you and forget you are , to my knowledge , the only director of a top flight football club with direct contact to supporters .

If we ever want to compete with the best then all of Aston Villa has to be top drawer , board , manager , players , stadium and fans .

There's nothing like flagging up issues - and this is no exception.

Supporters have written into the club over the past few months with requests for a giant supporter flag at Villa Park for every home game.

So, we've agreed to fund the production of a flag and are giving you, our supporters, the chance to choose the design.

All images pictured below have been created in consultation with small group of supporters.

Marketing Executive Dan Meredith said: "The club is very happy to get involved with this project but it is very much an initiative driven by supporters.

"We think this is a great idea and we are delighted to be funding the project on behalf of our fans.

"We look forward to finding out which design comes out on top."

The deadline is February 1.

For the Man city home game a few weeks back i actually used the the catering facilities before kick off to have a coulpe of pints . I had the misfortune to ask for two pints of bitter . After paying 6 quid the nice lady behind the counter served me two 440mil cans as the draft pumps werent working . I then had to remonstrate with some mouthy bint whom i believe was in charge the fact that i wanted two full not half pints . At one stage she threatened not to serve me at all because i had the audasity to insist on her opening one more can to top the two pints up to the level they should be . The sad thing for me was i let myself down and called her a clearing in the woods , i was pretty pissed off by now , her retort was to tell me to **** Off .

Whatever outlet , store , bar , shop i am in when it comes to the point of being served i allways make a point of being polite to the person who is serving me , it makes me fell good and i hope it does them .

Seeing as the Portsmouth and Blackburn home games are not big crowd pullers and coupled with there respective kick off times are the club looking at some special ticket prices to avoid 10000 empty seats for both games ?

As aseason ticket holder i would rather have kids in for a quid than any empty seats .

1. I think you will enjoy the tribute to the Staffs. We will have their flag on the big screen and they will be introduced and, hopefully, take a walk around the Pitch. As I have said before, we all have our feelings regarding Iraq and the foreign policy that has us in that Country. At the same time, we also know that these soldiers did not set the foreign policy...they are just doing what their Country asked them to do. They are away from home and loved ones...they have suffered casualties...and they have performed magnificently. We need to thank them for their service .....and never mind the policy. We can address the policy in our elections and in our letters to our elected officials. For these soldiers, we just need to thank them.

2. The 5 year Plan is multi-faceted. It encompasses the play on the pitch, the sales and marketing of the Aston Villa Football Club Brand, the infrastructure at the Club itself, the communications with the fans, the growth of our fan base, the excellence of our service to our fans, the relationship of our Club to the local community, etc. etc. I would say that our year one goals were met. Much has been accomplished "behind the scenes" to rejuvenate the Club in both attitude, infrastructure, and service. We have great people at the Club who have been eager to move forward and make AVFC a name to be recognized, not only in the UK, but world-wide. I cannot begin to tell you how proud we are of our people and the effort they have produced. We have a solid Squad and a superb Manager and set of Coaches...and we will only get better. Bodymoor Heath is world-class and will help us attract players as we move forward but, more importantly, will help the team in many ways. The future will bring more quality play on the Pitch, more infrastructure improvements, more brand awareness, even better fan service, greater and more coordinated sales and marketing, etc. etc.

After the first year of Randys guidance and the rest of the troops are we where we need to be after 12 months ?

what are the expectations year on year and when 5 years is up where as a club would the board expect us to be ?

I ask out of a genuine interest in what is happening at Villa now and exitement at the prospect of major team and stadium improvements over that time .

After the leicester game me and my brother walked up to the holte pub just to check if it was still invite only to get in .

The chap who greeted us at the door had all the personallity of a wet flip flop .
