  1. Lol at the people saying, "Sylla was the only CM on the bench". Yes, true, but this isn't Football Manager here. Clark has played DM before (yes, years ago), but he would do a quality job in CM for us - well, better than Sylla. I liked Sylla last year as he put in some good performances, but he offers nothing atm. He can't pass and his positioning is awful, both of which I'd actually let go if he put in hard challenges and won the ball in the middle of the field - but he doesn't.

First half we were good and Westwood played very well - one of the best performances I've seen from him. But, as usual, we never capitalise. It's always the same.

  2.

Bringing our best player off and replacing him with Sylla? Tactical genius you are Lambert. Jesus.

HE WAS INJURED!! What do you want Lambert to do? Call Jesus in to perform a miracle and heal him?

Blaming Lambert for taking Westwood off is as useless as Neil Quinn calling Guzan Guzman all game. (I'll spell Quann's name correctly when he can be bothered to learn Guzan's).

But you can blame him for putting Sylla on. Simple.

  3. He's also more than entitled to voice his opinion (it's called freedom of speech) when and wherever he chooses. Whether it makes him come across well or not is matter of opinion and whether or not it'll make any difference in him leaving Norwich remains to be seen.

  4. He just needs more game time. He was class against Sunderland last season, so he's got it there to do the job we need him to do, he just needs more minutes on the pitch and of course coached correctly and he'll be a consistently useful player.

  5.

I really don't see why we couldn't have thrown ourselves in the mix for Tom Ince.

He's held talks with a couple of Premier League clubs so far and BBC are reporting that he will have talks with Hull and Sunderland today and tomorrow.

Out of contract in the summer so wouldn't cost that much to sign now plus I can't see his wage demands being stupidly high. The fact that we haven't even tried is disappointing. You would think he'd fit into the "policy" of where we currently find ourselves transfer wise!

I would rather have nobody than Ince.  Totally the opposite player Lambert would sign.  His main interest is how much he can get.  Was disgusting see his big time Charlie father touting him around the clubs yesterday.  Bad news with a big “N’

What's the point of this thread?

Do you think he sits there now totally oblivious to how the players are performin?!

Why is it so important to to people on here that he "admits to making mistakes in signings", show me one single manager who doesnt make mistakes in the transfer market

    Pathetic

Lol alright princess calm down. Hence whey I put 'admits' like this. I am a fan of Lambert but his perseverance with the poor players he has bought has been frustrating at times, sort of a 'I've bought this player, I'm going to keep playing him until he comes good to save face' kinda thing. That's how I view it.

Just an issue to debate, no need to get so annoyed :D

    Like who?

Tonev was given game time and hasn't proven himself to be up to it so he's been dropped. Luna was replaced at the earliest opportunity.

Lowton dropped for disciplinary issues but also some really poor form early on in the season.

    Where is Sylla?

The one player he has persisted with where others (including myself) would not have done is Weimann. He didn't sign Weimann...

In answer to the thread I think it will be Bennett also.

I see your point, but look at Bennet last season and Luna this season. Bennett was finally 'replaced' by Luna (granted Bennett did get injured) and Luna has now been 'replaced' by Bertrand, albeit temporarily. Perhaps even Lowton at the start of this season. I don't think lambert is as bad at doing this as he was before and will concede that it may have been partly down to not having enough strength in depth, but if he now knows they are good enough (Tonev, Sylla etc...) then will they be first for the chop?

  8. When I saw Ireland flash up on twitter saying breaking news I thought oh god this is weird, we've only gone and re-signed him.

    And breath, and breath....

To play along though what is the weirdest thing that could happen. Holt unveiled as new manager with Nancy Delllollio as assistant?

    Breath or breathe?
