What was the name of the record shop that was (badly described) in the slightly underground walk way from new street possibly by the rotunda.
Reddingtons rare records possibly?

Twas either 1969 or 70 against Q.P.R. the season we got relegated to Div 3. I think it ended 1-1. My sketchy memory recalls the smell of ciggies & booze & the sight of grown men going beserk when we scored.

My distant relative was Thomas Cramner who was Archbishop of Canterbury. He was burnt at the stake
I`m related to the Boddington`s (brewery peeps), can`t stand the stuff though.

For me - Ray Graydon & Keith Leonard

The History Channel...
Show some actual history documentaries, not Storage Wars & Pawn stars all the **** time!!!

I`m old enough to have watched our beloved C&Bs long before the Premier League came about. So IMO this crap about "the worst premier defeats/goals conceded etc riles me.
Yes, mistakes have been made (MON spending & McLeish) & certainly the last few seasons have been poor/unacceptable, but be very careful of what you wish for.

Uncle Josef Stalin
I`m sure he murdered more people than Adolf

Ok, maybe somewhat OTT but its only sticks & stones, stop being so **** P.C. about everything.

Superb today - like having an extra player. Very reminiscent of Des Bremner - but quicker, for the modern era.
Or maybe the new Frank Carradus?

Im far from a regular poster, but I read this forum most days and however frustrating it can be when people who clearly arent ITK claim to be, this forum is a much duller place without said posters relaying the information they recieve or in some cases just making it up.
It has to be taken with a pinch of salt but it gets us all a little excited and im man enough to not see any ITK stuff as concrete so if it does goes tits up i dont have to throw my toys all over VT like some of you lot.
This thread was far better when the likes of JulieB was posting snippets here and there, so what if people get it wrong, it just means they are less reliable than others. Doesnt mean they shouldnt post.
I say if you hear something, post it. If you dont like people posting speculation, I Suggest you stop reading the bloody thread.
Yep, I`m in total agreement , FFS its a SPECULATION THREAD!!

However if I do get told we're after one or two........ I'll be keeping Mum, because if they ain't signed, sealed & delivered people moan too much.
Or...just perhaps....you've been sold a dud and you aren't as ITK as you think.
look, ffs, she hears something she deems reliable and she passes it on. sometimes its right, sometimes its wrong. this transfer chat is nothing but idle gossip. i dont care whether julie makes it up randomly or actually has someone in the know who tells her the odd thing, it matters not one **** to me, because i enjoy reading it
if shes right, great, if shes not, well at least it gets a bit of discussion going and entertains us for a while
sounds to me like you, for some reason, resent the minor attention that she gets
Agree 100%
Saved me typing, cheers

I think you could make a good argument for Peter Withe - the final piece of a jigsaw, or for the year before, Tony Morley and Des Bremner who filled gaps in a side that was struggling a bit and made that jigsaw almost complete. Alan Evans likewise. Kenny Swain perhaps too.
in more recent times, God, Dwight Yorke and Gareth Barry.
Good point Blandy, I would also add " a Jimmy Rimmer as a goalie" to your list

I am probably in a minority here, but although Paul McGrath was undoubtably a great player for us, I dont think he was our best. I will go with the OP & it`s Sr Dennis of Mortimer for me.

Stelling / Nicholas took great pleasure in announcing Liverpool had pulled it back to 1-1, had to stop watching, words removed, usual media wankfest over Liverpool and king word removed..
Totally agree, but you also forgot to add Phil "the red" Thompson, who was more interested in our match rather than his own.
I turned the tv off in the end, it was sickening & frankly amateur
Knew we wouldnt win, but happy enough with a point & with the other results that went our way

The Borough of Solihull borders Brum & Cov, Yet we are never considered from Coventry (perish the thought)
But apparently as I am a native of Solihull I`m a f*cktard, paedo etc... but it could be worse though...I could`ve been called a nose
-
Solihull has never ever been part of Birmingham.
I am a Sillhillian born & bred & I dont class myself as a Brummie, never have, never will.
IMO the Solihull accent sounds a posh version of Brummie...
...Just my two bobs worth

I think the only celeb/pop star whose death upset me in any way at all was John Lennon.
I wish he was still alive too, three or four generations of people would have completely **** forgotten about that band. Mark Chapman has way too much to answer for.
my feelings exactly

Be happy for him, his suffering is over.Rest in peace to the blues fan who died at the game tonight. What happened ?
Someone slipped there yesterday and unfortunately died.
I know I shouldnt but

I`m really enjoying the on going farce at the sty. But what concerns me is someone possibly will buy them, & do a far better job than the clowns that are running the circus at present.
I`m all for keeping it as it is

Personally i hope Spurs keep him. **** clubs like Chelsea.
Agreed Mr Train driver
I havent any problems with Spurs, irrespective that `arry` is a bit of a dodgy geeza. Wish our club had the bollocks to stand firm with these prima-donnas

She also wrote/co-wrote "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry
she`s gotta be worth a few bob for the royalties off those massive hits alone.
I won`t mention all the S Club 7 stuff she wrote
