    I`m old enough to have watched our beloved C&Bs long before the Premier League came about.  So IMO this crap about "the worst premier defeats/goals conceded etc riles me.

    Yes,  mistakes have been made (MON spending & McLeish) & certainly the last few seasons have been poor/unacceptable, but be very careful of what you wish for.

    Im far from a regular poster, but I read this forum most days and however frustrating it can be when people who clearly arent ITK claim to be, this forum is a much duller place without said posters relaying the information they recieve or in some cases just making it up.

    It has to be taken with a pinch of salt but it gets us all a little excited and im man enough to not see any ITK stuff as concrete so if it does goes tits up i dont have to throw my toys all over VT like some of you lot.

    This thread was far better when the likes of JulieB was posting snippets here and there, so what if people get it wrong, it just means they are less reliable than others. Doesnt mean they shouldnt post.

    I say if you hear something, post it. If you dont like people posting speculation, I Suggest you stop reading the bloody thread.

    look, ffs, she hears something she deems reliable and she passes it on. sometimes its right, sometimes its wrong. this transfer chat is nothing but idle gossip. i dont care whether julie makes it up randomly or actually has someone in the know who tells her the odd thing, it matters not one **** to me, because i enjoy reading it

    if shes right, great, if shes not, well at least it gets a bit of discussion going and entertains us for a while

    sounds to me like you, for some reason, resent the minor attention that she gets

    I think you could make a good argument for Peter Withe - the final piece of a jigsaw, or for the year before, Tony Morley and Des Bremner who filled gaps in a side that was struggling a bit and made that jigsaw almost complete. Alan Evans likewise. Kenny Swain perhaps too.

    in more recent times, God, Dwight Yorke and Gareth Barry.

    Stelling / Nicholas took great pleasure in announcing Liverpool had pulled it back to 1-1, had to stop watching, words removed, usual media wankfest over Liverpool and king word removed..

    Totally agree, but you also forgot to add Phil "the red" Thompson, who was more interested in our match rather than his own.

    I turned the tv off in the end, it was sickening & frankly amateur

    Knew we wouldnt win, but happy enough with a point & with the other results that went our way

    I think the only celeb/pop star whose death upset me in any way at all was John Lennon.

    I wish he was still alive too, three or four generations of people would have completely **** forgotten about that band. Mark Chapman has way too much to answer for.
