  1. Baggies aren't going to sell Berahino to us unless we pay well over the odds.

do you think he is good enough for us? I don't personally, just another overhyped young English player, goes on a run of scoring for 5 games and then goes AWOL for 10, I wouldn't want him as our main striker

The guy is top class potential and would piss into our side as he is now. If this happened I would be so happy but, it won't

  2. No Kozak in the squad, not impressed. He had a bad half last week but other than that he has been decent and finding the net. How does Gabby keep getting into the starting line ups.....

I can understand the kozak thing. The guy has scored a couple of goals for us but he is as slow as I've ever seen. So many break always are useless with him on the pitch. I'm with Tim on this.

  3. Guzan

    Bacuna richards Clarkamavi

    Gueye. Veretout

    Ayew. Gil. Grealish

    Adebayor

Plenty of back up options now. Anyone else fancy this lineup?

I'd go for a diamond formation and have Westwood or Sanchez at the base and Grealish or Gil at the tip with Adebayor and Ayew up top. The diamond is how I think Sherwood will go.

Yeah that's a good shout. I was just chucking an idea out there with our new signings. I can't wait now lol

  4. Charlie Austin’s £85,000-a-week wage demands have stalled the QPR striker’s move away from Loftus Road, writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People.

The 26-year-old forward has been on the wish-list of a string of top-flight clubs this summer after the Hoops were relegated from the Premier League.

He was Newcastle’s No.1 transfer target – before the Toon shelled out £13million for Anderlecht’s Serbia frontman Aleksandar Mitrovic.

And Austin – who scored 18 Premier League goals last season – is also being chased by Aston Villa and Leicester City. Sunday People Sport understands that suitors have been put off by the £30m total cost of a four-year package for Austin once his personal terms to sign have been taken into account.

Rediculous if true. I mean, I like Austin don't get me wrong. I think if it's goals you want then he will get them for you. Maybe he will get that money somewhere and good luck to him. But you kind of know what you're getting with him if you know what I mean. Good player but never going to be top top class. Much rather go for younger players who could be the next big thing. Hope I made sense there. Drank copious amounts of vodka last night!

  5. And sometimes people think football is just like Football Manager with set budgets, budgets that roll over from one window to another and takeovers that actually happen :)

Listen if people think we are going to spend £65m this summer that's fine but I personally think they will be dissapointed. (Net £20m)

    We will see soon enough.

Anyway, I think I will bow out of the thread/transfer speculation at this point.

Enjoy the rest of the speculation/window, I hope to be proven wrong on the net spend we won't have long to wait to find out.

Net spend ie, bring in 40m spend 60ml, therefore spend 20m? I'd take that

Ya that's what he's saying he doesn't think our net spend will be £20m

Ok I see now. Thanks for pointing that out lol. I think we will spend what we earn in sales plus 10m. That would be great and see us move forward hopefully

  7. If Liverpool want a player plus cash deal then I'd say its £32.5m and N'Zogbia or no deal. :)

Do u have anything to give us here Trent? I'd like him to stay but if he's going, I would like it done now. The guy doesn't love the villa like players of the past so it softens the blow,
