Got my main draft tonight.

10 team Legacy. Basically you keep all of the players you draft and then the next year you only draft rookies and free agents.

It's effectively a franchise draft. You can trade future draft picks as well as players. Will make for an interesting draft strategy. Draft to win now, or draft for the future? Ignore injured players or take the hit and wait until they come good later on?

Where did Luck go? How'd your team shape up?

I think people like Robbie Savage forget that AMC is no longer our manager. A man who managed to get us to score 37goals last season despite having the likes of Bent, CNZ and Ireland available for most of the season. Lambert has already said he will never not try to win any game. Our last manager only tried not to lose.

I think Robbie Savage just likes to get a rise out of us.

Browns had a win earlier versus the Packers. Starters seemed to improve on their efforts last week.

In the end left on a free bosman, Cardiff signed him as a bosman and i subscribed to his news feed. He went 24 hours without a goal. This game is too realistic.

First transaction I managed in my game was selling Heskey to MON/Sunderland for 1m.

So you're saying that because he is Australian he has had no technical training, and has no technical ability? Get your heads out of your arse. England is not exactly overrun with great technical players, and creaming yourselves over a Jack Wiltshere once every generation just shows the lack of technical ability produced.

To be fair mate, I don't think anybody has said that (correct me if I'm wrong). This thread got off the topic of Holman 3-4 pages ago.

Funnily enough all the goalscorers in that game (Popovic, Kewell, Jeffers & Emerton) all ended up in the A-League. The latter 3 all played last season!

When I was 13 I really got into the 1998 World Cup and was getting up in the middle of the night to watch the tournament here in Australia. I was talking to my Uncle (a Liverpool fan) about the tournament when it had finished and he said I should pick a team in the Premier League to follow, so I had a look at the list of teams and chose Villa because of their name.

My Dad then went to the Villa website at work and came home with about 30 pages of squad information & the history the club. Been hooked ever since.

To be honest I don't think he had a lot of competition this season.

Just got this yesterday (late to the party I know), so I'll fire up a Villa game and see how I go. Have enjoyed reading your exploits on here over the past 55 pages!

West Ham away opening day isn't going to be an easy assignment. Upton Park isn't a place I can remember us coming away with many points in recent years.

Also, like previous seasons we have some horrible stretches...

United (H), City (A), Arsenal (H) in a row is close to as tough as it gets.

Liverpool (A), Chelsea (A) & Tottenham (H) in the space of 12 days isn't much easier either.
