Also, I'm starting to hate the 'how shit must you be, we're winning away' chant.
We never go on to win after singing it. It's getting to be moronic.
I dont think we dont win because of a chant we dont win because we are a very very very bad team. Just like Christian Benteke doesnt score goals because fans chant his name he scores because hes good footabeller and gets in good position. Blaming chants on match results is shocking.

From the likes of James Milner a few years ago to Simon Dawkins what a huge decline.
-
Can Lambert just go got more points against them with Mcleish than with Lambert think we were 8-10 better off this time last season so why dont people want him to be sacked?
-
He isnt in the squad so happy.
-
Yeah it was me who tweeted WM Police earlier for the figure.
Piss poor support, even given the circumstances.
I dont get why people are criticising the support. We are playing really badly at the moment and with the embarrsing January business and a lack of optism im suprised weve sold a 1000 tickets for this.
-
Face it we aint gonna sign anyone and will finish bottom because of this hate Lambert and Lerner so much.
-
Everton to win 3-4 nil feel really sorry for the people going to this match. I won't even be bothered if we lose really don't care anymore same with a lot of other villa fans I expect.
-
Not even a championship player just woeful how he gets in a prem team shocks me.
-
Lambert has to go now sorry but if we had better players we probably would of won that. Why Barry bannan isnt a non league footballer at best I dont know.
-
Con is a blues fan end of.
-
To think we could have Sissoko instead of Bannan lol.
-
So you want others to protest but won't do anything yourself? Not even debating your opinions on the forum? It gets dull quickly when you just repeat the same few things over and over in multiple threads. I suspect a lot of people have already added you to their ignore list.
I suspect a lot of people feel the same as me to be honest. If people expect to be positive about this club at the moment I really dont know how I or anyone else can be in all honesty.
-
Will you be bringing yours, or just talking about it?
Like I said im boycotting going to matches until he gos.
-
Change the **** record will ya, it's **** boring now. You add absolutely nothing constructive to this board whatsoever.
He is a wofeul player I get so depressed how far weve fallen from the likes of Barry Milner Young in Midfield to Barry Bannan as a playmaker all in 3-4 years.

Just got back.
Don't even know what to say really.
There was a passage of play in the second half where we had the ball for a good 2 and a half minutes and we went nowhere. I guess that's a metaphor for what we are as a club.
Millwall were just as bad as us in all honesty, just a break went for them in the final minute as the ball came back of the bar for a tap in.
Three games in a row since we've turned to shit after Delph has gone off. Never thought I'd say it but he is actually starting to come good. Vlaar at the end looked absolutely distraught too.
One thing that really **** me off was the treatment of Bannan. Booed on and got a shit load of abuse for a shit corner that he didn't even **** take. It was **** disgusting. He was actually one of our best players tonight, if not our best, yet he gets hammered for it.
Last point: Bent can **** off. Don't care if he scored tonight, he did **** all else. Doesn't challenge for headers, doesn't harry. Yes he puts it in the back of the net when on a plate (which is rarely and he nearly **** it up tonight too) but the bloke is a complete passenger. We're not good enough to have a passenger. We really should be selling him to anyone we can.
I feel so bad for Bannan getting paid a million a year and being woeful and getting booed for it what a hard life.....NOT.

I couldn't disagree more.
How so?
-
He tried a hollywood ball and it didnt even make it to auditions is what the commentators should say. I just despise him.
-
25000 fans max. Result wise 3 nil to Newcastle. Hopefully Lambert Out banners are brought into the stadium.
-
Can't ask more of the lads !
I hope your taking the piss.
-
You've made your point 100 times you weasel. Why keep posting it
Its getting worse and worse not sure thats possible much anymore. WTF has happened under this manager errrrrrrrr.
-
All I can say tonight again is Lambert out.
-
Really don't know if I can be bothered to follow this club under Lambert anymore.
-
Looks like probs our smallest league crowd of season.

It's an interesting quandary that isn't it... On the one hand there is the 'blind love' support where people will continue to pump 450+ quid for a season ticket come what may and who may or may not have anything other than football in their life - they will always be part of the furniture. On the other hand, this is the 21st Century, football competes with a lot more leisure pursuit finances than 40 years ago (my perception anyway) - which makes us customers and consumers.
I've had a spiralling downward and receding interest in football generally since the 2010 World Cup and find it harder and harder to motivate myself to exercise my season ticket spending each year - more and more I become disappointed with a feeling that I am not getting value for money, and certainly not enjoying it. I've been a Villa fan as long as I remember, and I have experienced great joy, and the horrors of relegation - but it never felt quite like it does now...
I have never felt so humiliated to be associated with the Club - never felt such a prolonged and consistent misery, even back in 86-87. Never been as bad as this.
I believe there is serious damage being done to the 'fathful' by all this, and I understand fully why people may throw in the towel. Quite simply, it ain't cheap. And football competes with so many other things now. We're having the stuffing knocked out of us.
I don't want to feel miserable week in week out - had enough of that last season, and I threw in the towel and boycotted after the Swansea capitulation through to McLeish's sacking, renewing my ticket as soon as he left the club. I've tried it again this season, and after another 450+ quid and a steady stream of humiliations and humblings, find myself quesitioning why I go... Why do I spend so much money on something that makes me miserable? So, since Eck was appointed, that the best part of 900 quid down the drain on feeling like shite... For that kind of money, a customer should experience some sort of entertainment. There are no guaratees in football, I know that. The win rate at Villa Park however over the last 24 months has been ridiculous... and how many games have been truly enjoyable? I'd be struggling to name 5 if the truth be known. And in that 5, I would put the 3-2 defeat to United in there as 'enjoyable' as it was an entertaining game, even if the final result was predictable and frustrating.
Everyone is different - but your point is correct, will they come back? My decline has been since the World Cup, so it's not just Villa - it's football as a whole. I used to watch ANY football that was shown on the tele - I was mad for it. I just can't be arsed with it any more... No interest even in the Champions League unless there's a British team in the final these days. I certainly can't be bothered with England friendlies and qualifying games... Same old, every time with them.
I'm a family man and I have other hobbies/interests to fork out for. Stuff that generally makes me happy. Even if we stay up, I can't see me renewing next time - it's too much of a financial risk for so much money on something likely to make me so mad. Something that makes me punch walls... verbally abuse match officials... It's not a nice state to be in... And it happens so much more frequently these days... I'd rather go on a cruise or something. I really would be freeing myself of the habit of just turning up... And further, I might even find that I don't miss it... I didn't miss it one bit from Swansea at home to Norwich away last season. I felt relieved actually.
Sure, I'll always be a Villa fan - but I would have freed myself from the whole match day grind and my daughter (bless her) would get extra time from me at home. Stuff that's important...
I might buy a shirt, I might not. I have said it before in another thread - the Club does **** all for me and wouldn't do jack shit if I was destitute outside New Street Station wearing my Villa shirt. Just like I am a consumer, Villa are a business and seek any which way to get money out of me - even sending me an email after the Bradford 2nd leg thanking me for my support on one hand, then asking for money on the other by reminding just how many more key home games there are to go in this season. Well Villa - you've already had my money, so tough tits.
I don't think I'd be back to be fair... But I certainly wouldn't look down my nose at anyone that did... You pay your money, go when you want, stay away when you want. Live your own life as you're a long time dead - certainly life is too short to be miserable every week in the wind, rain and cold watching the club die on it's arse.
Great post.

To be honest I could really care anymore. Andy Carroll will probably score a hattrick and a fan will throw a chair at Lambert which will make him resign hopefully.
