The issue is that yes we did show more fight today than we have all season but only after we had conceded.. Each and every time we conceded fought like our lives depended on it, came back and then believed the job was done. So yeah we showed more fight, but only because Watford forced our hand..

Remi was never going to bring the magical cure in 4 weeks it takes time and we are through all the cracks starting to see a better performance.

We will pick up points this season starting with Southampton away on Saturday, I've got a feeling that if we carry this new found fight into the next 3 games we have every chance to surprise a few clubs on the way.

Lets not fight with ourselves on forums as we all want the same thing! I believe in Remi & His now long awaited fighting Lions!!! UTV Villa til i die!!!

  2. We have shown more fight in the last 100 minutes than we have witnessed all season.

Yes mistakes have cost us yet again but if we can keep the fight going we will pick up points along the way.

The only way we can avoid relegation is if Randy puts his hand in his pocket, the choice is his! "UTV" "Villa Til I Die"

  3. Can't see us getting to 20 points this season it's a sad time being a Villa fan.

The only positive is the teams around us aren't picking up points either.

Watford, Newcastle & Norwich are now season defining games.

If we do go down does Randy drop his asking price to get rid?

  4. It would be nice to see a performance like the game when Darren Bent made his debut and we won 1-0.

I'm hoping to see Libor Kozak start the game with Gil in behind him.

Being brave and going for a score draw!

  5. With all this weekend's results going our way this is now an even bigger match.

Time to turn the corner and show Garde what we can do.

We're not down yet and as long as Bournemouth & Sunderland keep **** up we have a fighting chance of being a Premier League team next season.

Villa to win tomorrow with Ayew and Traore scoring

  6. I would like to see Kozak start against Southampton but was at a stadium tour on Sunday and was told Kozak is injured again. Not sure if that's correct?

We're reported as having a fully fit squad to choose from. Unless Kozak is not longer considered part of the squad.

Fingers crossed Kozak gets to start then!

Had plenty of time to reflect on today's game before posting.

Looking at the starting 11 I thought we may have had a chance of getting all 3 points as it was an attacking formation and after watching the first 20 mins it was obvious we could get the result, Swansea looked awful and definitely beatable.

What really gets me is the stupid, thick moronic supporters who start getting on the players backs after 5/10 minutes.

The atmosphere was awful inside the ground and it's not helped by the constant negativity hurled towards the players.

How can you expect them to fight and give 100% when you throw abuse at them?

We all love the Villa but come on try supporting and being positive it may help the players confidence on the pitch

That's it blame it all on the fans. The players were getting plenty of support when we went 1-0 up. But being the losers  which they are they some how managed to lose against a poor Swansea side on the day.

I'm not blaming the fans just the small minded few who from the 1st minute started getting on the players backs when things didn't go our way.

I am a fan of Aston Villa FC and I will always support the players for 90 minutes of football and get behind the team with positive support. I will do my moaning and bitching whilst walking to Aston Station.

If you can't support the team with a positive attitude then don't bother turning up!

The players feed off the atmosphere and if it's crap and negative it will impact their performance on the pitch.

Either get behind the team and do your bit or don't bother, simples!!!

  9. It's a must win game on Saturday and no doubt the players and management are feeling the pressure to stop this worrying points haul so far.

How about as fans we get behind the team and Tim Sherwood and leave the moaning, negative chants and complaining until after the final whistle.

I'm not expecting a full house but let's all get behind the team and be the 12th Man!

Don't get me wrong I'm pissed off with the last few months but if we as fans create negativity it will affect the players on the pitch.

The only chance of beating Swansea is if we all do our part and let the players play at Villa Park with a positive attitude.

Sorry to preach but like most just want to see another 3 points on the board.

I hear what you are saying, but the moaning and calling for Sherwood to be sacked has been confined to social media thus far so I don't think it's a concern for the game itself. The fans will get behind the team, the only time you may hear anti-Sherwood chants is at full-time if we have lost.

I agree that the moaning has mostly been on social media but the groans and suggestions that Tim Sherwood should be sacked or leave are echoing all around the ground and this in itself breeds a negative atmosphere.

I just feel as fans we must and need to do our bit to keep Villa Park bouncing who knows it may just help to getting 3 points on Saturday.
