I just find it odd that someone would have 3 types of fruit lying around.  Surely nobody has that much fruit for lunch?  It wouldn't leave much room in a lunchbox for crisps, cake or sandwiches.  He must have put some effort into this, I'm guessing it's Iniesta as I think he has eaten an apple, banana and orange in his lifetime.

Heard a whisper from an agent (not the player's) that this lad might be under consideration. Although he stressed it was when he was out of contract, rather than in this window. Not a story at this stage but an interesting nugget nonetheless.

So Tim, I know you may not give away your sources, but how did you find out before everyone else? And are you 100% sure because nothing official has come from Villa, Molde or OGS yet?

Confirmed by a source in Norway and I knew the game was up when it was stood up by someone at Villa. As a rule, football clubs don't tend to like to put official lines out about this kind of thing. Molde may well do something but it will be along the lines of OGS putting everything in the past etc.

Still gutted here...

In other news.... Domingos Paciencia applied for the job but seems Villa told him a polite 'thanks, but no thanks' and it went no further than that.

Actually, I returned a call to Gordon Stretch who is a plane spotter at Birmingham airport. I befriended him while I was down there hoping to catch a glimpse of OGS last week and he promised to keep me in the loop on the movements of Lerner's jet.

Father Abraham knows the score. He can feel free to give us a wave as well.

Also, what about sellyoak? I know he hasn't posted on here in ages but he's definitely ITK.

If anything, I probably err too much on the side of caution with the information I get rather than just stick it out there.

Like the majority on here I'm positively desperate for Ole...It would also generate a massive wave of optimism throughout the club.

Certainly, I've seen how the fans are massively behind this appointment and communicated to Villa what a popular choice this would be.
