There are actually tickets set aside for international supporters (at most PL clubs I believe.)
If you are going over for a “once in a lifetime/decade/year experience” the club will find you a seat.
Hi.
This was not my personal experience.
I tried to get tickets for myself and 7 mates (from Oz).
I was bounced around different departments, saying the other was responsible. In the end the only forward was via Hospitality.
Our trip went to Chelsea, Spurs, VP, Old Trafford (The Derby). Liverpool, and Craven Cottage Home Grounds.
Villa was by far the most difficult to deal with as far as ticketing goes.
Must say with bias the VP actual game day was the best I personally experienced. The other 7 all said Villa had become there second team.
Our trip was planned around who we all supported.
Most impressive stadium as far as service/facilities was at Spurs. Most expensive was Fulham.

Hello to everyone who is interested.
We went to the pitcher and Piano . There was 8 of us and thought that pub would show Brum in its best light.
We sat in trinity. Great atmosphere. And whilst the other 7 guys had never been to VP before, they all loved the place and I am happy to report Villa is now there second team so to speak.
Great day although getting back to London post game was pain.
Just to add further detail we did chelsea/arse on Sat
Villa on Sun
Spurs/fulham mon.
Off to Liverpool tomorrow for their europa league game
Then the manc derby .
Then Budapest for some R & R.
And back for a Fulham home
Those games cover all our respective teams the group support.
Cheers and thanks for all your input.
It was much appreciated
Pete

it's an ongoing myth from blues fans that villa are all from the shires and are too scared to drink in town. the reality is that you'll see plenty of claret and blue on a home matchday and won't get any problems whatsoever
i don't frequent the city centre on matchday but used to like the trocadero mainly cause you can get a cheap burger and it shows football. but you'll have plenty of choice of pub really...i personally don't like the shakespere near the train station though if you want somewhere to avoid. always found it to be a dive when there's plenty of better places.
as there's 8 of you, i'd just share a couple of taxis to the ground. split between the 4 of you in each cab it will cost the same if not less than a bus/train fare
Thanks so much

Thanks for all the suggestions...I'll do some more research and make a suggestion to the group.
Another question if I may and probably a silly question...will I be able to wear Villa shirt/scarfe and be relatively safe.
Im now 69 and not as fit as I used to be and see a lot of posts here intimating that Blues predominantly drink in town ??
Cheers and thanks again

Hi All,
For those that saw my earlier post relating to troubles getting tickets to this game.
I have finally secured tickets .
Just to recap I am part of group of 8 Aussies doing a premier league tour *(i am only villa fan ).
We are travelling to and from London on the Sunday and would like to stop for a late lunch and pint in Brum.
I've seen pics posted a while ago here of what looks like a great location on the canals. Is this in the City and convenient enough to have eats/drinks then get to VP for kick off.
Any suggestions of best pub to go to would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers and thanks and hope this is the appropriate place to place this post.

Im in Australia,
Travelling with 7 buddies, willing to pay for hospitality at Villa Park for West Ham game.
Sent 2 emails. 1st gave me another email address to respond to.....that email address referred me back to the original email addy.
I've just been on hold for 30 min international call to sort out the issue and gave up.
Villa are one of if not the worst dealings I have had. Its bloody hopeless.
I've talked my non Villa supporting mates to go to the game but it's impossible to get anything sorted.

Join your local Lions club and get tickets through them.
Yes I have that option , for myself, but we are a group of 8 .
Even though paying a premium (trip of a lifetime) thought thos may be the easiest option ......given this will probably last trip there

It’s been really unclear what their plan is. I’m not sure if they’re for general sale or members. You can contact the club here - https://www.avfc.co.uk/hospitality/ might be worth enquiring with them and getting your name in.
Thank you so much

Hopefully its just speculation and Kane stays with Spurs

Any likelihood Spurs come in for Ollie with their Kane money?
Interested in everyone's thoughts.

I think Newcastle have beaten Norwich - Ryan Fraser on the scoresheet.
Newcastle 4, Norwich 3

Mate, I live in Newcastle (2 hours north of Sydney) and very rarely see a Villa shirt in public.
I was to say the least gobsmacked at the support in Brissie.
Such a pleasant surprise.

Was about 500 people at the Brisbane game, was very empty stadium
Way more than that .
40000 with a stadium capacity of 52000.
Of the 40000 I would guess it was 60/40 in favour of Villa fans.
Great day out!

When does his contract expire.
Shouldn't have same problems with Carney though
-
Cant find it now.
But it was someone who saw him yesterday in Brum.
Probably false alarm but was interested if anyone else knew

Saw on twitter that Neil did not make trip to Australia, which would, to me seem odd. Can anyone confirm
