  1. Fair do! Plus you'll have them in your hand, there and then, which makes it somehow more real! :)

Yeah, I'm not even going to be able to concentrate at work not knowing if my Dad has been able to get them or not. Haha!

  2. Would it not be easier to get them online / over the phone?

They didn't change the criteria over right away for my window for the semi, still hadn't changed about 2 hours later in fact.

Could get them over the phone but I was ringing to get Southampton tickets on Tuesday and it took me 90 mins to get through for those, plus they had already sold out by the time I got through anyway. haha.

That's why I was thinking it might be easier for someone to go down there, not sure if it will be likely to sell out before my window anyway.

  3. I can't get the day off work for when my allocation goes on sale (11th May 2pm), so I'm sending a family member down to get mine from the ticket office. Is queueing necessary do you think? Don't want to send them down an hour early if they can just turn up at 2pm and queue...

  4. Just for clarity purposes in case anyone else was wondering, I rang the ticket office yesterday and away games do count towards the PL booking history, as does the Burnley home game, even though it is played after the booking criteria, as it is a non refundable game.

  5. I can get one on 12th May and am relatively confident I'll be able to.  Assuming all S/T holders take theirs beforehand, they'll need to sell another 7,000 on the 11th for them not to be available on the 12th.  I may be wrong, but can't see this happening.  I actually think there will be another couple of criteria that it will drop to.

I think given that they're doing 3 seperate sales criteria all on the 11th, I would assume that not many will fall into those criteria and that's why they have been grouped together on that one day?

  6. It's all a bit of a nonsense though as not many people qualify in the top couple of categories and many of those that do choose to wait to purchase with mates who qualify further down - hence the reports of very few tickets being sold early doors for the semi and the phone lines/queues being chocka later on.

Yeah, you're right, didn't really think of that.

  7. All ST' holders will get one so not sure why any ST holders are panicking.

Also not sure why when we have less ST holders than tickets available they need to mess around with loyalty based on 10+ seasons, 5+ seasons etc, particularly when there is no apparent advantage to buying early rather than late in a particular window. I would understand it if the number of ST holders outweighed tickets available.

I'd assume that those windows are purely to manage demand at the ticket office so that they can deal with it as efficiently as possible by limiting the amount of people who can buy per day.

There is no advantage for the fan but there is for the staff.

  8. Booking history includes games still to be played this season .

    Cheeky!

Cue a mad scramble for remaining home game tickets.

Does anyone know if away games count towards the 14/15 Premier League games attended?

  9. Do they usually send a paper ticket for the coaches or just have a list? I ask because I have the tickets now, but nothing about the coach travel...

You should have a paper ticket for the coach too

  10. Not holding out too much hope for Monday then :(

Typical that one of the only away game days I don't have to work on is the one that will sell out before I can buy a ticket. Oh well.
