I groaned out loud when I read this, absolute clown of a referee. We need someone who'll be strong enough not to give Arsenal a million free kicks for their players going down every time a defender brushes into them (I thought Michael Oliver was pretty good in that respect in the semi).

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the ref last night was Jon Moss, who also handed us that double penalty screwing at Man City last season. He's now on my Phil Dowd/Kevin Friend list of refs to 'keep an eye on'.

It would help if he came out and explained how one of the clearest fouls in the history of football wasn't given, but that will never happen.

They may be bottom but in my opinion they're in a false position with the squad they've got, I'd take a point here. The homes games against Fulham (nothing to play for) and Sunderland (in freefall) are better opportunities to pick up the points we need I reckon.

I was delighted when I saw that Rodwell was playing, and it showed as I thought we were the better team in the first 20 minutes. Was typical that he then got injured and changed the whole game in City's favour.

Westwood frustrates me, he obviously has quality on the ball but seems afraid to push on and support the attacks, isn't that the whole point of having Delph in there with him for protection?

I think the only excitement to be had from this game will be guessing what kit Man City will wear if their home and away shirts both clash with ours. Once that has worn off it's back to the standard 0-2 result.
